If parent with sole custody passes away, yet made legal arrangements for child to be adopted by the parent's sibling, would other parent be able to fight for custody or would California courts recognized wishes of deceased parent? Thank you in advance for your answers.

  • Cruelty to animals? (Pet Store)?

I was at the mall today and went into the pet store (I don't want to buy a dog, I believe in Rescueing only, I just like to look at the puppies)

I noticed that two of the cages had bloody stool in them and a third cage had a dog with a bloody mark on his face. Is this normal? If not who should I contact to advise of this. I was pretty disturbed. PS It was at the Northridge Mall, Northridge CA.

  • Repeatedly having ghost dreams?

Over the past month I have had about 7-8 dreams involving ghosts or spirits. In most of them I am telling the ghost to leave and that it is not welcome and I am scared but more concerned with telling it to leave. Then about 3 nights ago I was dreaming I was in my bed and that the ghost (invisible) was twirling my hair around and around, almost as if on a finger. But I was looking at myself from behind the ghost. And even though I was angry that it was back I felt ok knowing it was there. I dont know if it is supposed to represent someone. If it is of any importance I have been having these dreams from about a week before my wedding to now 3 weeks later. At first I thought it was stress related but I even had them on my honeymoon.

Thanks in advance for your insight.

  • Dressmaker FORGOT to alter my dress?

Is there anything I can do? I went for my FINAL fitting yesterday and first the attendants could not locate my dress then found it in the seamstress area and said that it would not be ready to try on until Friday and they would then Still have to alter the length. Making it not ready until next Thursday night. However I am getting married out of the country and leaving Friday morning. Am I being unreasonable by letting them know this is unacceptable and demanding it be finished by Tuesday for my peace of mind? What would you do?

  • Obessive Aquaintence?

I should add I am not paranoid.I have an aquaintance that I meet up w/ MAYBE once a year to catch up & chit chat . When I got engaged she mentioned she wanted to be in my wedding which i didnt take seriously. Later she told me she was sad I didnt ask her I explained it would be my best friends & sister. THEN she called & asked if I would be in her wedding. (she is not even engaged & doesnt plan on it for 2 years) At a get-together she asked me to point out the girls & then asked where I met them & how long ago. She cornered them & forced her opinion on how the showers/parties should be. Then she called me &told me she values my friendship & considers me a BFF & that I dont value her friendship . At my shower she stared at the bridesmaids & asked them why they never accepted her friends requests on myspace. Today She said she needs to talk to me today & I am a little scared. Her behavior is very odd & really making me nervous. Have you had this situation or any advice for me?
