This is the message displayed on the Acer One netbook. The netbook was dropped and the hard drive was clicking, which indicates a HD failure, so I replaced the HD today.

- I've checked the BIOS and the HD is detected by it.

- I've changed the boot order so the HD boots up 1st.

However, this message is still displayed. I can boot from an external DVD drive from which I'm trying to install windows from. But when it comes time to attempt to install, I'm getting a similar error msg stating there is no disk to install windows on.

Any ideas?

Not really an ex per se. She was just someone I saw in the past off and on, but I never gave her the official title of 'girlfriend.'

Here's where things started to go south: She drove 4hrs to see me for a night, and I had to blow her off b/c of my brothers wedding (Yes, she was aware of the wedding ahead of time). I was so exhausted after the wedding, that I started to fall asleep in the car while driving home. So I let her know that I wasn't going to be able to make it. She was obviously hurt and a bit cold after that....we didn't speak for months.

Now I moved within 20 mins of her and she contacts me from time to time suggesting that we should get together, but I've got a hectic schedule with little free time to see her. Tonight I'm free after a month of being in town and suggested we get together, sit, and chat for a while after she told me she was doing nothing at home. She took a raincheck and said she was sleepy.

So now I'm confused!?!?

What is she thinking?

Why would she turn me down?

Is this revenge for what I did to her?

How do I get her to sit & talk with me face to face? I'm a pretty convincing guy face to face.

I need to change the o2 sensor in my 97 accord. The dealer wants to charge an astronomical $230 for a primary sensor and $290 for a secondary sensor.

I am thinking about buying a bosch or NTK sensor seen here for $60 - $110:

My question is will they work as good or better than OEM?

Will they last as long?

Are there any drawbacks to using an aftermarket sensor?

Are there better sensors out there that I'm not looking at?

These are automated servers that should process orders in the order of which they were received.

Which state(s) generally sell cars the cheapest. Obviously it depends on the kind of car b/c some cars are more popular in some regions which make them more expensive in the regions that demand it most.

But as general as you could possibly be, which state sells cars cheapest?

If you need to know what kind of car, it would be a compact or mid-size fuel efficient sedan, and preferably a Toyota.

I'm trying to copy the following files to the external HD:

- TeX aVeRy.DVD1 FuLL FReNCH.eNGL [13.4GB]

- La Vie En Rose (<~~ a French Movie) [8.83GB]

Both are .iso files which are DVD rips.

I have encountered this problem in the past and it was usually because the file name was too long. Well.....that's not the case this time. I have tried changing the file name and I've also tried compressing the files before I copy and I get the same error.

I have other .iso DVD rips I have already copied to this hard drive, so I do not understand what is causing the problem for these two particular files.

The best I could find has the T5250 1.5GHz 667MHz FSB 2MB Cache Core 2 Duo and X3100 graphics.

It was the ONLY Core 2 Duo I could find at this price point. Everything else that's noteworthy was a pentium dual-core.

Please note: I don't care how much RAM it comes with. It will be garbage after I upgrade it to 4GB. I also do not care about what operating system comes with it. HD space and speed is of little concern at this price point as well as the graphics.

So....I'm only concerned about processing power!!! If you can beat that, you've got yourself 10pts and kudos for knowing where to shop!!!

Please try to stay under $550 out the door.

It was running fine for the past 72hrs nonstop. I use it mainly to download. I got BSOD due to a driver issue is what it said.

I'm running XP pro 64 bit (planning to upgrade RAM to 4GB soon)

I've had a NT driver issue at startup I was lazy about fixing.

Anyway, the computer posts fine. I went into the BIOS and restored the defaults, so it is no longer overclocked. But I still will not even get the windows boot screen. The screen goes black where windows boots.

I am used to using a pc.

I inserted a disc into a macbook and wish to explore the contents of the disc.

On a pc, I would just right-click and hit the 'explore' option. I figured out how to right click (control and click the mouse button), but i don't see an option to explore the contents of the disc.

How do I do this????

Please note: double clicking is not an option as it will only boot the setup of the program.

For instance, when I go to newegg, it shows Intel's processors FSB. When I go to AMD, It shows HT where FSB should be.

People have complained that the AMD is slower than Intel's equivalent, but it is much cheaper.... So what is the real difference?

Also, what is the deal with the HT and FSB? Intel is around 1066 MHz - 1333 MHz for FSB. AMD is 2000 MHz - 3600 MHz for HT.

Shouldn't the faster bus on the AMD be better for gaming?
