3 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoExcel: Multiply column by variable multiplier?
I have a column of numbers. (A1-100)
I want to apply a multiplier from cell E1 to A1-100 in B1-100.
I try setting B1 to =A1*E1 and then copy/pasting this cell into A2, but the resulting forula becomes =A2*E2, rather than =A2*E1.
Any idea how to keep the E variable the same? OR an easier way to apply the variable multipler (E1) to the column?
(paste special > multilpy doesn't work because it only uses the value of E1, not the variable itself. I may want to change E1 and have the multiplier change the column)
I hope this made some sense..

Here is a scenario:
1. Company A buys widgets from Supplier Z.
2. Company B is bigger than Company A.
3. B wants to buy widgets from Z, but only if Z stops selling to A.
4. Since B will buy more widgets, Z stops selling to A.

1 AnswerPhotography1 decade agoDo the snowboarding pant gaiters go over the boots?
Do the gaiters that are build into snow boarding pants go over the boot or inside the boot?
For years I've been putting them inside, but I just noticed that it has a little clip on the front similar to regular gaiters (that go on the outside).

My dad today at thanksgiving dinner said that his friend who went to Cuba for a week told him that the citizens of Cuba cannot have meat in their homes (meat is only allowed to be sold to tourists) and that everyone gets paid 50 cents an hour, no matter what job they do.
Is there any merit to this?

7 AnswersInsurance1 decade agoWhat is the meaning behind "Que Llueva!" song? Spanish?
"Que Llueva" is the spanish alternative to the english song "It's raining, it's pouring, the old man is snoring..."
I was trying to translated the Spanish song into English, but I'm not understanding the meaning behind it.
Here are the Spanish lyrics:
Que llueva, que llueva,
la Virgen de la Cueva,
los pajarillos cantan,
las nubes se levantan,
que sí
...que no,
que caiga un chaparrón
con azúcar y turrón,
que rompan los cristales
de la estación.
What is "la Virgen de la Cueva" refering to?
... "los cristales de la estación"?
Please don't just paste a google translate Spanish -> English.
