I have a MacBook pro 15" (mid-2010), and I'm looking to replace the 500GB hard drive with a 1TB hard drive, and I've been looking specifically at this one by Western Digital:

Would I be able to replace the hard drive in my Mac with this one without any problems?

Has anyone had experience in replacing their MacBook Pro hard drive?

I have an HTC Desire HD, when I got it, which was about a week ago, not even, it had the stock 2.2 version of Android. I downloaded VISIONary+, rooted it, loved it rooted, it worked amazingly well. Then this morning I got a notification for a system update and carelessly downloaded it, only to find that VISIONary+ refuses to do a temp root (or any root for that matter) on the now 2.2.1 Android system. The latest version of VISIONary+ is from November, what my question is, how do I go about downgrading my Desire HD, or if the creator of VISIONary+ has some sort of release date for a version that allows root access of 2.2.1. Or is there a way to root my Desire HD without the use of VISIONary+? Much thanks.

I have a little legality/moral question here. If say, for example, a website or group of people use a brand name such as, for example, Nintendo, with the intent of monetary gain through advertisements, if they do not have the permission of Nintendo, is it legal to do so? To even use the name? For example plastering the word 'Nintendo' all over the place, and posting videos and news of various Nintendo items.

This just started happening today, and only to me. All of my friends can access their PlayStation accounts just fine. Whenever I try to log into PSN from my PS3, I get an error saying "An error has occurred during communication from the server. This is a DNS error. (80710102)"

I have reset my PS3 and my wireless router multiple times, but I still get the same message. What do I do?

Ok...so I live in France as an expat from the US. My PSN account is American, but my MW2 game is British. I downloaded the Stimulus Package today, and it wouldn't work on my British game due to it being region locked. I made a new British PSN account, and if I make another user on my PS3 system, connect it with the British account, and download the Stimulus Package from there, would I be able to use the Stimulus Package on my main account? The one hooked up to the American PSN. It should, no?

So like, it comes out Tuesday for Americans, and Wednesday for the rest of the world. I live in France, but have a British game, but have an American PSN account hooked up to an American bank account and address. How will this work for me? Will I be able to get the package on Tuesday or Wednesday?

Will my Mac be exactly how it was before?

I get this whenever I try to accept my friend's invite to play, and also he gets the same for me. This problem is with only one of my friends, everyone else works perfectly fine, we can invite and join without a problem. We have both tried disconnecting our internets, resetting PS3s etc. How do I fix this?

It works fine with my computer when I connect it using an ethernet cable, but whenever I try to connect my computer, iPod, or anything to it via WiFi, it either says "network timeout", or "unable to connect". Yes, I have pressed the 1 button to allow new devices to connect, and yes, the password is correct. Help please? The provider is Orange if it's of any help...

So I bought MW2 here in France, where I live, hoping that (like most other PS3 games) the game will update to the language of the system. As I started, I realized that it was only in French. So If I buy the British version of the game, and play it on my system, the save file should work, no? They're both PAL region, so I don't see why it shouldn't work. I just wanted to confirm that with someone here.

Will it? Or is there a program that will allow it to function on MacOSX?

More specifically, France? If i have legal consent and documents, etc. from a guardian.

I'm hesitant to get the iPhone, as Apple releases a new version every 8 months or so. I really like the HTC Hero, and as I already have an iPod Touch, I don't really need all the features of the iPhone.

I have never gotten this problem before, and the video is only 10:55 long, I and other non-partners have uploaded videos longer than this (the limit is 10:59). I keep getting the message "Failed, upload aborted" all 3 times I have tried to upload this video. Has YouTube recently changed the upload requirements? Or is it because I have a 5 second Family Guy clip in it that says "Allah". I honestly have no clue. Help anyone?

I live in France as an expat, and I bought the new CoD yesterday, hoping for the PS3 to automatically change the language of the game based on the language of the system, like it does with my other games. But when I started up MW2, it stayed in French, with no sight of an option to change the language. I know this is not because of the "Not for sale in the UK" label on the back of the box, as my friend in Holland has the same label, but his Dutch game changed over to English upon start up. It's not that I can't understand most of the French, I would just prefer it to be in English because that's the way the game should be. This is quite frustrating. Any help? Is it just a matter of time until they release the English update for foreign games, or is it just the French that refuse to make an English option?

She's in 11th grade and he's in 9th grade. To me, that's very odd, in my opinion, it's better if the guy is older, and even 3 years is pushing it in high school. I don't want anyone saying "If they're in love, there are no limits" I want opinions on the age and grade difference because I find it very odd. What have you experienced?

I just spilt a little on the left top corner, near the charger, it worked for around 10 seconds after the spill while I moved it away, then turned off. I took out the battery and it is now lying on its side like an open book. Am I screwed? :(

If I upload a video in private on YouTube for it to process in HD, and then once it is HD, put it on public, will it show up in the Subscriptions box of my Subscribers or not? As of late my videos have not been getting good views, and I think this is the reason. Could someone confirm for me?

Near Lyon, France, in the woods while on a walk today, I came across a small plant with orange berries. It seemed peculiar because it appeared to just have a green stalk of around 6 inches, then a bundle of orange berries at the top. What type of plant is this?

Anyone know why the Parc de la Tête D'or in Lyon was closed today? It said for safety reasons, but that could be many things...
