Not receiving email from Meetup?
I've quit receiving emails from Meetup and can't figure out why nor how to get them again.
Email updates are turned on in Meetup
The correct email address is entered into Meetup
I went to https://help.meetup.com/hc/en-us/articles/36000288... and added info@meetup.com to my address book.
There are no emails in my spam folder from Meetup.
when I log into Meetup, there are no large red box(es) for me to confirm any problem with emails nor have I ever seen one
I don't have the Meetup app on my cell phone
I've added a rule so that any email from Meetup.com goes to my inbox
I went to Yahoo mail, clicked the Settings icon, then More then Security and Privacy. I have no email addresses being blocked
I've gone to Meetup and have made sure all my groups have emails turned on
The only thing I can think of is that Yahoo has decided not to send Meetup emails to me and to not tell Meetup this either.
Or do you have another explanation?
1 AnswerNotices and Errors2 years agoOne of my lists is empty. I did not empty it. How do I get it back?
With the last upgrade, our firewall won't allow access to Yahoo Mail at work. As a result, I'm stuck using the "basic" version. That may have something to do with it.
By the way, that basic version is absolutely awful. There are about five things it doesn't do that the pre-upgrade version did and I'm quite seriously thinking about switching email services as a result. As for our people adjusting the firewall to allow Yahoo Mail in, that's not even a remote possibility.
