On a pedal harp, the wires or rods from the pedals run up through the column,but what is the purpose of the column on a lever harp?

I know it has strings, but is it part of the stringed instrument family or the zither family or what? Not many reliable sources on the internet can give me a solid answer.

You see, I've hidden the lightbluetext and white text or whateverrr in the Interests and Details section, but now there's this big ugly strip of blue where the "General, Music, Movies, Books" used to be. Is there any way I can resize that blue strip or maybe even get rid of it completely without getting rid of the entire tablee??

I used powdered sugar on the surface I was working on, and some got on the side I rolled onto the cake. The fondant is black. What can I do to make the powedered sugar disappear? I tried brushing it off with a paintbrush, but it's pretty stuck on there. What else can i do?

I have gotten into a debate with my friend on whether or not England is a country. I say it isn't. I always thought that UK was a country (similar to the US) and England, Scotland, Whales and Northern Ireland were all provinces (like the US has states). Am I wrong, or is she?

I am making taffy, but I would like to make more than one flavor. So, instead of using three different pots (three flavors) I was thinking to add the flavoring oil and food coloring while pulling. Will it make a difference?
