Hi, my name is Shannon. I like to be called Shanny. I was named after Brendan Shanahan, haha, kidding, my mom said that I could tell people that. I love hockey!! I love to laugh, dance, and have fun. I like listening to 80's and 90's hip hop. I plan on having my own sport's bar one day.

  • How to get parakeets to be not afraid?

I know their are many, many questions like this, but something is unclear to me. Ummm...I read that you have to have patience and to sing to them and they will realize that you will not hurt them, but does this take long? Also, when you stand next to the cage and talk to them, should you be standing or sitting? My parakeets are scared when I stand but better when I sit and play "the thong song" by sisqo. For some reason, they love this song. So, if I show them that I feed them and sing/talk to them, will I gain their trust?

  • Do you like Limp Bizkit?

I remember listening to them when I was like around 7 with my sister and I recently found them again and I was surprised I still now the words to some of the songs. haha. But then I realized how much people don't like them anymore and think that Fred Durst is waaaayyyy overrated. What do you think?

  • what does this dream mean?

Well, I was at this magazine shop (in my dream) and I saw this average looking 16 year old sitting on a couch. I walked up to him to say hi (I am 15.) I looked at him and he had green eyes and brown hair. I sat down next to him and said hi (Kinda like I wanted some, lol, like a hoe) He said hi back and was really shy, but after a while he and I started talking. Then after about 10 minutes, we started making out. Then we stopped and we started walking around the magazine store holding hands. I saw another boy with a red wings jersey (about 16 years old too) on and started laughing and walking toward him to tell him I liked his jersey. So, when I did he told me thanks and gave me his phone number. Once we (me and the green-eyed shy boy) walked out of the store, we exchanged numbers and whatnot. Then we became to be in a relationship and then we were almost inseparable. Then, I started calling the guy with the red wings jersey. We became really good friends and he really liked me as a girlfriend. Then, "my boyfriend" got really possessive. And he wanted to kill me. So he would be this bipolar boyfriend and one day give me flowers and the next day, not let anyone talk to me and he would actually try to stab me.So, I would always try to leave to see the red wing fan. haha, what does this crazy dream mean?

  • Is Detroit, Miami, Washington, D.C, New York really that bad cities to live?

Many people freak out and say that they have huge crime rates and tell no one to live there. Is this really true or are they trying to scare their kids to not live in big cities. (haha, personal experience)

haha, Mom won't let me live in Hockeytown (Detroit) and doesn't want my sister to live in The Big Apple (New York)

Is it really that bad to live in high crime areas?

  • Think Steven Stamkos will be better next season?

He wasn't bad, but he had a rough start. Sorry, that not all #1 draft picks can be Sidney Crosby, hahahaha. you can tell that he started to adjust more later in the season. (when he got his first career hat trick and had a couple of cool defensive plays, by helping out the goalie. I believe it was Ramo, when they played against the pens, and put his skate in between Ramo's legs. (anyone remember?) Well, guys do we have a future great hockey player or a let down? what is your personal opinion?

  • Where is Thomas Kopecky?

I know he had his facial surgery for his cheekbone. I also heard that it was successful. Will he be coming back next season?

  • How much money should I ask for babysitting?

I have to baby sit my little sister this summer and my mom asked me how much I want paid. My sister is 6 years old and isn't bad, but she does eat every piece of junk food in sight and has a reputation for playing around the cars (which my dad has a huge problem with both, haha) We also have a pool that is 3 to 9 feet deep, so I will really have to watch her in the pool whether I am in swimming with her or not. I will be watching her at least 4 times a week. I don't want to get paid to little or too much! hahaahahaa, I don't want to go big or go home and tell mom that I want paid 30 bucks a week, just to get cash, hahahahahahahaha, I ain't that mean!

So how much do you guys think?

  • What to do with my knee?

I sprained my knee last summer. I got x-rays and everything then the doctor said that I had a hairline fracture. But when I went to the bone doctor (completly forgot what they are called, haha) they said that it never was fractured, just badly sprained. The bone doctor (there I go again, haha) said that my knee just grew too fast and it looks weird that is how the doctor thought it was broken. He told me to give it rest. The rest of the summer was okay and It didn't hurt that bad. But anyway, it started hurting again, so what should I do?
