The mechanic worked on my left back blinker and brake light. It was an electrical problem, he played with the wires and he seemed to fix it and I paid $160. My Ford SUV, again after 1 day the blinker stopped working. Now he has it and said he is ordering a switch.

Do I have to pay additional money, for him to fix the same problem for a second time or am I covered under a consumer protection law, and if so what law ? (I am located in Boston, MA)

Is there a time code for construction start times in the city such as 7 or 8 am. They woke us up at 7am this morning.. What time can they start hammering and using power tools. Are there any codes on the books in the Boston ?
