Ok, so I am about half way done my undergrad career (FINALLY) and I am pregnant with my second child. The baby is due early november, so if the baby comes when its supposed to, ill have about 2 weeks of school, a week of thanksgiving break, and then 2 more weeks of school and than final exams. I already know its going to be intense, but I was just curious if anyone else has done this? Were you able to handle going back to school so soon after having a baby? Ill have someone to watch the baby- the father- but im not sure if im giving myself enough recovery time. I know professors will give me a week off of classes but I feel a week is cutting it short. Ive planned my schedule so I would only be in class 3 hours/day 5 days/week.

Has anyone else attended school KNOWING your due mid semester? If so, did it work for you? Do you have any regrets? any suggestions?

Ok so I had my daugther 7 months ago and breastfed exclusivly for 6 months, then i started supplementing and I completly stoped about 4 days ago. Now i have my first post baby period which started last night.

How was everyone elses first period? i feel super crampy and gassy. a little nausea too.

my daughter just turned 7 months and thing are slowly getting a little better (still far from good) does anyone else feel like they do 90% of the work and your husband/boyfriend/babydaddy does 10%? its like the only break i get is when i go to school and my bf says well dont be all day. i feel like saying FU there are days he leaves all day to hang out with friends. he changes like 2 diapers a week. i do EVERYTHING. laundry, dishes, cooking, cleaning ontop of going to school and taking care of our daughter (bath time, diapers, anytime i go on errands i take her) am i the only mother who feels like she does everything while daddy is still out having a blast? and if so, what did you do about it?

what really got me was the other day he says "now i see why they say when you have a baby your life is over. i only get to go out 2 days a week now." I HAVENT BEEN OUT IN OVER A YEAR, CRY ME A MOTHER F%&(#@ RIVER!!

so my daughter made it 7 months before getting her first cold. shes miserable right now. her nose is in snot production overdrive, she feels warm but the thermometer says 105 F(?!). to make matters worse... HER TEETH ARE COMING IN. today will be day 3 of her cold and its not getting worse but its not getting better either. is it time to call the doctor?

ok im due this saturday (yay!!) and ive been having alot of pressure in my pelvis/vagina when i get out of bed for the past few weeks. well today ive been having EXTREME pressure in my entire lower belly any time im standing, not just when im getting up. im sure this is totally normal so im not to worried. im just wondering if this happened to anyone else and if/when it did how soon was it after that you had your baby? i know to expect my baby "any day now" but im just wondering if alot of people went into labor within a day or so of this happening.

ok i know this sounds stupid, but ive never had a baby before and im packing my bags and i thought about it.

what does your baby wear in the hospital? do i have to take my own clothes? if i do, do i get to dress the baby or does the hospital require the babies to wear a special outfit? im not talking about the going home outfit im talking about the outfits while we are in the hosital before we go home. i have some really cute newborn outfits (hopefully she will fit) and i want to her to wear them during her hospital stay.

also, ive been experiencing like pain in my down there regions, sort of like i got kicked really hard and its usually only when im laying down. has anyone else experienced this and what is it?! (im 35 weeks)

I was laying in bed just now feeling the baby kick and thought to myself...

after having your baby, does it feel weird to not be pregnant anymore? what feelings do you feel the first month the baby is out and she/he is no longer in your belly? This is my first baby and i cant wait to meet her but i think its going to be oh so very strange. i just want some thoughts on what its like to no longer be pregnant.

ok so long story short my house got broken into and someone took mine and my boyfriends safe, which had EVERYTHING important in it. the thing that devistated me the most were all my babies ultrasound pictures were in there. i had pictures from when she looked like a lima bean, and then at 18 weeks sucking her thumb then again at 21 weeks with her knees to her nose. i go again for another ultrasound in 2 weeks and i dont know if the doctor keeps these pictures on record and if she can give them to me? does anyone know? i cry everytime i think about it. :(

I feel really strongly about doing it, and my babys father said its up to me becuase i do most of the research anyways.

I feel like if my child was to get some sort of cancer/lukemia later in life and i hadnt saved the blood i would kick myself forever. but then again it costs $2000, and im a fulltime student and dont really have that kind of money laying around.

so what do you guys think? has anyone stored it and needed to use it and is glad they chose to store it? or if you didnt store it why not? im just trying to make an important decision and any advise would be great. thanks.

ok so ill be 20 weeks on sunday...half way there.

ok so heres my thing. i feel like this first half has gone soo slow, but at the same time it has flooown by. and this second half might not even make it 20 weeks. what if she comes early? ahh ive been freeking out about everything. ive never even held a baby before (i know thats pretty sad) let alone change a diaper or had to comfort a crying baby. i feel like this second half is going to go waaay to fast. some days i want it to go fast like when i want to meet my baby and see what she looks like or if i feel like my hormones are making me crazy. i find myself crying all the time becuase shes going to be here before i know it. my boyfriend always tells me to stop and everything will be ok. basiclly i just want to know if this feeling is normal? thanks

Im currently pregnant and due at the end of september. im really set on finishing up school and plan to continue even in the fall (only a few classes). i heard that the government will help mothers pay for schooling and i just wanted to know if anyone knew a website i could go to to find out more information. thank you

my doctor told me to expect some mild cramping but i just want to know when is it no longer mild? ive never had really bad period cramps so i dont know what horrible ones feel like, but the past day ive just had almost debilitizing (i think thats a word) cramps. i feel my lower stomach tightening and i need to be curled into a ball on the bed and it goes away. if i try to move the cramp gets bad/tightens and almost forces me back into the ball. i havent had any bleeding or vomiting or anything, so if it dosent go away ill contact my doctor but i dont want to wait to long if this isnt normal. has anyone else experienced this? oh and im 13/14 weeks. thanks

I really want to find some prenatal swim classes, preferably in a warm water pool. if not prenatal classes just a facility with a warm water pool that isnt going to cost me $100/month to use. I live in the baltimore, Maryland area so any recomendations or sugestions on websites i can find classes (i cant find ANYTHING) would be great. thanks

just wanted to know for fun because ive heard of some really strange cravings(peanutbutter and MAYO sandwiches?!?!ew)

i crave potatoes. nothing strange but i want potatoe chips, frenchfries, mashed potatoes, baked, hash browns. ANYTHING with potatoes.and while its not a weird craving its such a strong craving. i actually will make mashed potatoes or a baked potatoe before i go to bed because i KNOW in the middle of the night im going to wake up with a rediculously strong craving. its so strange.

so what are some of your cravings?

this isnt really so much a question as much a rant (stupid hormones make me do this alot)..but my boyfriend/baby-to-be's father will not stop smoking cigarettes around me. not only does he know they are bad for the baby but he knows they make me gag and throw up. now granted i was a smoker up until this pregnancy so i know its hard to quit. but why does he smoke in the bedroom when the doors and windows are closed and in the car so im TRAPPED in this cloud of smoke bound to make me sick. i really wish i could find something that made him as miserable as i get when he smokes, and use it against him. (arent pregnant women evil hehe). well to make this a question...does anyone have any advise to make him stop. ive asked him politely to stop and he just puts the cigarette in the other hand away from my face THAT DOESNT HELP!! well thanks ladies for listening to my rant and any possible advise

ok im still in early pregnancy, somewhere in the 11-13 week range. well im having really vague "cramps" its all over my lower stomach. they arent really cramps but more like that feeling where you REALLY have to pee but dont for an hour or so (if that helps to describe the feeling). its really uncomfortable and i dont know what to do. im just asking if its normal and if anyone else has experienced it can they please tell me what they did to make it feel a little better. i know this isnt a question, it was more of a support type thing.

Im way to young to be having a baby, im only 19 and the babys father is 22. The father wants to have an abortion, and he thinks im still considering that as an option...BUT ITS NOT!! . The babys father (and doctor) is the only other person who knows right now and i really need his support. he says he will support me in any decision i make and go to all doctor visits with me. but i feel so terrible. how can i MAKE him have a baby especially when he dosent want one. He is a really amazing person and i think he is just really scared. once the baby is here i KNOW he is going to be an amazing dad. basiclly i just want to know that this whole baby thing isnt going to be as horrible as everyone makes it sound and i just want to be able to tell SOMEONE im really excited, and scared.

This may sound like such a silly question but i just took 2 pregancy tests and they both came back positive (yay and yikes!!) who should i contact? my regular care doctor should i contact a OBGYN? i really dont know. this is the first time ill ever be experiencing this so i just have to ask. thank you for any answers.

If i become an antesthesiologts (in newyork if that makes a difference) and I work in a Public hospital, do I pay for medical malpractice insurance or is that covered by the hospital. Thank you for your answers.

I love him very much and it really hurts. Ive been dating him for a long time and know him very well..kind of like a ross and rachel relationship (any friends fans?) He told me he still cares about me very much but i cant help but cry...i cry constantly. i cried in the middle of the store today and everyone thought i was crazy. i know everyone says time cures all but... i dont want to wait anymore. How can i get over him since there isnt really a possibility of us getting back together?
