I know that the second symbol in a freeze brand is the year of birth, and the last symbols are the horses identification number.

But is the first symbol (the registering organization) the same, or does it change for each state?

is there a differences between a horses color as a yearling, then as when they mature.

like i know greys are born as chestnuts and grey out. right?

so how can i tell?

i have chicks and one of them is a little sickly.

what should i add to their water? clorine or bleach?

He is a very cute pony and im helping some friends train him. On the qround he clips, ties, and is pretty quiet. But once in the saddle he rears, bucks and kicks out. After a while he does calm down a LITTLE. I havnt rode him yet so im planning to lunge him and walk him alot befor i try him on the trails or lumping.

Does any one have any tips to help calm him down/ relax him or any thing else??
