My father is a General Motors Retiree and every year he gets a christmas bonus in the mail around the 15th of Dec. He didn't get one this time and I don't know if it was a postal mistake or if GM decided not to send them out this time. I tried calling GM Benefits Center but have been on hold for over an hour. Would anyone on here know? If someone else received one then I will have to call and have them trace his check to find out what happened to it. If it helps he's retired from Norwood Ohio plant. Also is there is some other office I should call instead? Thanks!

My mother paid all the bills for my father so he doesn't know how to do any of this and I have no clue of what I should be doing. Can anyone help?

Here's a bit more info: She had a Life Ins policy which we gave to the funeral director last week to pay for her burial. She drew Soc Security and we received a letter for an appt with them (unsure why). My mother was very disorganized and no check register was found so we are unsure of what amount was left in the bank. I do know they had several bills that were automatically withdrawn. We don't know if she had credit cards. What should I do to get my Dads finances straightened out? Is there other things I should be doing? She left no will so everything belongs to my Dad, which isn't much. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My question is: If I download Opera or Safari can I.E. be deleted from my laptop? If so, how do I delete it.

Also, how will it affect my other programs and stuff? Is there some stuff that requires you to have I.E. installed?

I have Windows 7 on a Dell Studio laptop.

I am trying to make browsing the internet faster. Should I even switch or is Windows 7 just ssssllloooww?

Laptop is less than a year old and I do cleanup daily.

HI, Could someone tell me if there are any interactive desktop pet games for Windows? I'm looking for something for a 13 yr old girl or older. She wants one where you can feed it, cloth it, bathe it, let it run around on top of windows, etc. Is there such a game out there? If not, is there anything remotely close to it? Thanks!

Would this be considered misconduct if a person was indicted for manslaughter before the grand jury and then 4 months later WITHOUT any new evidence they changed it to Murder 2nd degree?

How can they do this, legally? Has anyone ever heard of this before?

When the defendant was charged (indicted) the first time before the grand jury it was asked in front of the "GJ" and the and everyone if they were there to try a murder case and they said NO it was manslaughter charge. 4 months later and before the GJ again the Prosecutor indicted the defendant on Murder 2nd degree and there was no new evidence. The judge told him he would have to drop the manslaughter charge (which he did) but let him get away with upping the charges without new evidence....why?

Could someone with legal knowledge help me to understand this better?

I can't afford health insurance and do not qualify for ANY type of assistance. My family doc can no longer help me and no specialist will see me without cash/insurance/etc so what do I do? I have been fighting this battle for 3 years and I am too sick to keep fighting this losing battle. Anyone else out there in this same situation? What else can I do ?

To top it off the pharmacy I got it from wasnt sure and the info page was gone, I have searched all over the net and found nothing and other top pharmacies have never heard of it, help someone please! I was prescribed this yesterday for cough and conjestion but I also take other meds and won't take it until I know it's safe, thanks!

Ok I'm a total newbie and I want to burn my photos onto a cd and add music to it, is this possible and how do I do this? I have only something called Roxio CD Creator 5 basic. I also have Sony CD-R 700mb cds. Would I need anything else?Complicated process for a newbie? Thanks guys!

it's like when its supposed to shift (it's an automatic) it sometimes stays in 2nd gear or low gear and won't shift back out to drive. Also I know this is weird but the speedometer needle drops to Zero instantly and if the AC is on it will slowly lose power like its going to die. If I shut the AC off it "powers" back up but the speedometer still stays at Zero and it STILL won't shift out of 2nd or low. Once I park it and let it cool off for several hours it's ok again. If it was the transmission wouldn't this happen all the time regardless of how long I have driven it? What's wrong with my crappy van? Any ideas?

I found this pill in my niece's backpack wrapped in tissue. I was just borrowing a pen and and started to throw the tissue away when it fell out. When I requested ALL my medical records from the doctor that I had recently stopped seeing after 3 yrs all I received was info on the last visit. Is this all I was supposed to get? I wanted ALL info that was in my file. Can I get this without a fight and do they have to give it to me legally?

I really don't want to have to reinstall the software again or "buy" a lost password cd rom. Is there an easier way? Her aunt didn't have the username and password because it belonged to her son whose in Iraq and he said he couldn't remember it coz it had been 4 years since he last used it.

I called Microsoft and they said they would not help out and I checked a lost password site.Will I just have to reformat? How would that be possible without the password?

My daughter is waiting impatiently to play her games, lol!
