When I first replace the pump it run fine. The previous pump only had 34 miles on it when it went out. I replaced the wiring harness, fuel filter and pump. After awhile It would run for a few minutes and die. At first it would stall when I first started it and then it would start again and run fine. Then it started bogging down like it was out of fuel. Now it won't start at all. If I spray some gas or starting fluid in the air filter it will run for a few seconds.

Now when I turn the key on the gas guage goes crazy back and forth. When it was running if I turned on the turn signals the gas guage would move back and forth. If I gave it gas the gas guage would move up like a tach.

Also what is the fuel pressure suppose to be? I have a manual and it says 9 to 13 psi. Another source says 50 to 65 psi. Which is it?

The Van was running fine when I parked it last Friday(a week ago). I went out to start it today and it would not start. I didn't hear the sound of the electric fuel pump when I turned on the ignition. I haven't had a problem in the past. I think it's the fuel pump. It has 3/4 of tank of fuel. It's not out of Gas.

I have a 1990 Dodge Daytona with a 2.5 (4) clyinder. Can I put a 3.0 (4) clyinder in it? If so what kind of problems will I encounter. The 2.5 has overheating problems and everything from the head gasket to the radiator has been replaced. Water pump, thermostat and anything dealing with the cooling

system. The only left is the block. I'm tired of putting money in this thing and still having the same problem.

I've been told this is a common problem with the 2.5.
