  • Weight loss dilema?

My girlfriend has been trying to lose weight for a long time. She's 21, 5 foot 5, and weighs 170 pounds. She tried exercising, eating right, using the weight watchers plan, doing the all vegitable diet, still no success. It just varies by plus or minus 3 pounds. She has been to a doctor, had her levels (including thyroid) checked and everything is fine metabolically.

Neither her nor I really care for taking medicine, but it seems like in this case there is no other choice. My first preference is if anyone has any non-medicine solutions, but if not, what medicine would work best? Perhaps inexpensive, and effective? Stacker seems cheap, but is loaded with caffiene and I've read reviews of people that were unable to sit down while they were on it.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Cody

  • Question about credit cards...?

My credit card has an APR of 12.9%. I just got the credit card, and it's my first one... and I want to figure something out before I go and use it. If I go out today and spend $100, and assume (neglect the minimum payment) that I don't pay any of it back for a year, does that mean after an entire year they will have added $12.90 to my balance, or is that $12.90 each month? I'm confused...

  • Delphi 2005 - Moving mouse to click in print dialog?

I'm using the code from the following link:

    http://delphi.about.com/od/vclusing/a/mouseadvance...

My challenge is to click a button, have a TPrintDialog come up, have the mouse move to the properties button, click it, and do some more clicking within the window. I can get the mouse to move and click, but the print dialog doesn't seem to catch the click. It just ignores it. Help!

  • What to get a pilot for his birthday?

My good friend is turning 21 in a few days. He's going to college to become an air traffic controller, and I rarely see him. So I'd like to get him a nice present (up to $125). He's an Amateur Radio operator and a small plane pilot. What should I get him?

  • Looking for a ford mechanic on this one...?

I have a 1996 Ford Explorer (please, no opinions about how one manufacturer is better than another). I was having a problem where it had very little power, and when i slowed down I got to about 20 mph and it felt like the wheels were slipping. I took it to a mechanic and they told me it needed a transmission. I got that entirely rebuilt (something about a valve body as well). It has a lot more power now... but still, when i slow down to about 20 i get a CLUNK and it feels like the wheels are slipping for a brief second but not as badly. Also, when I shift into reverse (automatic transmission) it makes a CLUNK noise.

  • Need some ideas for how to sleep better...?

So I got home from work around 6, i'll do a few things on the computer (this being one of them), watch a little TV, eat dinner, then... its off to bed?

It always seems like I go to bed early (10ish), wake up around 7, and feel exhausted. Its like I never get enough sleep. It's really frustrating especially when I'm off at college, because I'll wake up after 10 hours of sleep and feel so tired and weak that i'll have to skip out of classes.

    Any suggestions?

  • Need help aligning headlights?

So I have a Ford Explorer and had a little mishap with the front, so I need to re-align the headlights from scratch. I know all about the adjuster screws; i'm looking for actual measurements. For example, if i park 25 feet from a wall, how high off the ground should they be showing?
