I am trying to remember the name of an anime about a world where everybody can do magic except the hero . he was one in a million case. but the lake of handling the magic allowed him to drive an ancient Robot machine .

the Anime was a series of Long Episods (like movies) and finished with the forth one i think .

in the episode 1-15

the fresh prince is trying to get decorations for Christmas.

he went to this high class shop were a guy showed him some strange boring decorations

at the end well smith tried to ask him for a standard decorations and here is the dialog between them:

Will :Let's try something wild here, you know?

Do you have anything red or green...

or, l don't know,

maybe something like a Santa Claus?

what does the other guy mean when he said

i would rate it 8/10 it was fun to watch

i just wanted to see if there was other people willing to expand their minds and enjoy anime although the graphics is outdated ?

i have to say am sick of people who want to watch anime for example romance and requested that the anime should be new and the graphics is great

am just wondering are they really watching for the story or for the handsome women and men

finished watching the masterpiece called Rose of Versailles(1979) and i have to say it was the first show that moved my feelings since i watched Brave heart

it is a story or war romance Tragedy

i was so touched by the anime to the level were i couldn't sleep or work (especially after ep 20)

before that i watched Future Boy Conan i have to say i enjoyed this as a child and i still enjoy it as a man . it is super funny with solid story .

although i don't expect anyone to answer this Question because it is relatively hard i had to ask

i need an anime with solid story like

Rose of Versailles

it is very old i know

i watched as a child but now i dont remember most of it and that was the reason why i watched it again .

i have to say it was a masterpiece am around episode 30 and the anime seems to be headed for a tragic ending (i remember that part at least )

am afraid that my feeling will burst at the end but i have no choice but to move forward and see the ending.

can any one suggest an anime that have a solid story like this one ?if tragic would be better

i dont mind even if the anime was created 100 years ago

am not looking for good graphics i just want a good story .

my Question is this

is the ova remake of the episodes ?

should i watch the TV show first then the OVA?

or i ignore the TV show and go for the OVA directly ?
