Just set up my first 7.1 system. While watching Netflix or Disney Plus I only get sound thru 5 speakers. Is this because They are broadcasting in 5.1? 

While watching my Internet tv I get sound in all seven speakers. Same with playing music they my phone. 

So If these apps don’t broadcast in 7.1 I will not get sound in all my speakers? Is that how it works?

I just picked up my new glasses a few hours ago. The doc told me I needed them for distance reading and that I had an astigmatism in my right eye. So when I wear the glasses everything up close and within 10 feet is crisp and clear. Beyond that everything starts to become blurry and I can actually see better without them. So I thought I test some things out. If I close my weaker eye (right) I see perfect and clear close up and at distance. Close the left eye and my right eye is really blurry bUT only at distance. I noticed this a little when I picked them up at the store and they told me that I d get used to it..... but why would I want to get used to glasses if I can see better at distance with my eyes. Perhaps a break in period? If so how long? These are my first glasses and it is a very mild rx. Any input would be great

I have a Pioneer VSX 823 reviever. I have my Xbox one hooked up via hdmi. I want to play music from my ipod while I play games. I hook my ipod up via the USB on the front but when I want to listen I have to change the input to ipod and therefore lose the picture from the Xbox. Is there a way that I can do both at once? I have searched online and the manuals with no luck

So I just purchased nba league pass (canada) and now I see that locally televised games are blocked. I will be watching thru my xbox one since I don t have cable. Since I changed the dns codes in my xbox for US netflix will this tell my xbox that I live in the us and canadian games will not be blocked? Also i travel a lot, domestic and international, so how can I get around blocked games on my laptop and tablet?

Somebody please help before I lose my mind. I have a 2008 princecraft holiday dlx with original trailer and out of nowhere my trailer lights stopped working. They worked a week ago. So I have a 7 pin hookup on my vehicle and my trailer is a 4 pin so I have to use an adapter. I use a Reese 7 pin to 4 pin adapter. This adapter has little led lights that tell you wether your getting power and all of the led lights come on so this is telling me that the receptacle is getting power from the vehicle. As soon as I plug in the 4 pin hook up to the adapter those little led lights I mentioned go out and no lights on the trailer. Any thoughts would be great. I just don't get how it would work only a few days ago and now nothing

I want to get a tapco stock for my sks. I found one at a store for a good price but it is the one that is made to accept the bayonet when stored. I want to have the one with the bottom rail. My question is can I add a bottom rail myself and how? Since I live in canada it is nearly impossible to find exactly what you want when it comes to guns and parts

Just want to know what I can use to protect the laminate wood on my 870? Wax ? Oil? Preferably something I could pick up anywhere. Not looking for gun specific products. Before you go on I know the 870 is an entry lvl gun that is made to be abused..... I just like to take care of my things.

I have a rem 870 with a 28" barrel. I want to buy a replacement barrel for it. I found a decent price on a barrel but it is 18". I thought anything under 18.5" would class the gun as restricted. So my question is would an 18" barrel make my shotgun restricted?

Ok. I don't know a whole lot about hunting so someone help me out. I have a remington express 12 ga with an 18" barrel. I would like to do some bird hunting but don't know if this short barrel can reach out and touch them. I really don't want to get a new barrel so my question is if I use choke tubes would that do the trick? If so what kind should I use. If not could you explain so I can better understand

Ok, im a little pissed and frustrated at the same time. I have a Sony STR-KS2300 home theater system. I have had it for a few years and I thought it was a pretty good system. I just recently bought some headphones so that I can watch movies while not disturbing people. I go to plug them in and my sony reciever has no headphone jack. WTF!! What kind of $1000 system has no headphone jack? Tried my TV (brand new) and it has no headphone jack. Is there any way that I can hook something up to make my headphones work? Links to pics of suggested cables and tutorials would be appreciated. Thanks

I just bought a 2013 Dodge Grand caravan but it only had one key. They ordered another one for me but told me I would have to drop the car off cause it will take at least 2 hours to do. Really 2 hrs to program a key? Does that sound right?

I have a 2008 Pontiac Torrent and I noticed a very loud squeal under the hood. It only makes the noise when it's cold out and once it warms up the sound goes away. Took it to the shop and try said it was the serpentine belt so I had it replaced. Two days later I go out to start the car and the noise is still there. It was a little chilly not cold so the sound was gone within a min. So it shows the same symptoms of going away once the car is warm. I know for sure it was the same sound and if it was colder out the sound would be at full strength. Any thoughts?

I have an eight yr old GSD that has degenerative myelopathy. She is in the mid to early late stages of the disease. My vet has said that it is hard to tell how much time she has left. This could not have come at a worse time. I am goin to do a long distance move in the next few weeks. I find it unfair to the dog during the move being cramped in cars and hotel rooms with this disease and the added stress of a new location seeing she probably only has a few months till the disease has gone to far. My vet said its my decision. Any thoughts?

I have a 2008 pontiac torrent and recently I have had an issue with its sensors. My battery is bad and I know that it needs replaced. I have to boost it regulary because of the cold weather (alternator is fine already tested) my question is would a dead or dying battery cause a glitch in the computer and make all the sensors come on? The other day everything came on ABS, Stab Trak, AWD, Airbag after driving around for a few hrs they all went away and everything was working normal. I just gave the vehicle a boost again and drove down the road and all those sensors came on again? Any insight would be good. Hopefully a new battery will solve the problem and its not a deeper issue.

I have an LG Optimus and I want to take the pictures off on to my Mac. I have tried everything but no results. The Mac doesnt even recognize the phone when pluged in via usb. I also tried all the settings on the phone but nothing. Is there a FREE program that allows you to transfer data?

So I put a post yesterday about my green cheek sleeping all the time. He's only four months do I thought maybe it was because he was a baby. Last night he was just laying there sleeping not moving much. When I woke up this morning he was laying on the bottom of his cage. When I went to pick him up he had what seemed to be a seizure. His body contorted and his feet were all scrunched up. We tried to get him to the vet but he passed on the way. What could have caused this? To go from healthy and active to dead within a day? We are trying to think of reasons. He didn't eat anything strange no weird smells or chemicals used just out of nowhere. Any ideas would be great my wife is devestated.

I recently got a baby green cheek. He is 4 months old. My questio is when willhe stop wanting to sleep and cuddle all the time? He begs to come out of his cage and as soo as he does he burrows into your clothes and goes to sleep. I have read that birds that sleep a lot may be sick but he is still a baby so maybe he needs the sleep. Also when will he be considered not a baby anymore? As for training what age is good to start at?

So I just got a green cheek conure. He's 4 months old.I want to know about feeding. Obviously water should be available at all times but what about food? Should he be on a schedule or always have food available. I ask because i have read that they are a little easier to train when hungry because they will be more willing to work for a treat.
