The ones featured on her website are all very nice but they are very expensive. I really like the cushions and thought about getting some plain cushions for a cheaper price and then buy some vintage / paisley print fabrics and have the covers made myself.

Sudan police throw teacher in jail for teddy bear named Muhammad

A British teacher faces a jail sentence in Sudan for insulting Islam by letting her class of seven-year-olds name a teddy bear Muhammad as part of a school project.

Gillian Gibbons, 54, from Liverpool, has been accused of blasphemy — an offence punishable by 40 lashes under Sharia — and could be imprisoned for up to six months.

She had asked the children to pick their favourite name for the new class mascot, which she was using to aid lessons about animals and their habitats. In a class vote, the pupils rejected her own suggestion of “Faris”, with 20 out of 23 deciding to call the cuddly toy Muhammad — also the name of one of the class’s most popular boys.

What message do you think this gives out about Islam to the whole world?

I’m sure most people will have heard about this series of short films known as Ummah films done by this guy Ali, he is awesome, he is all over youtube, has his own site and blogspot and now he has a DVD which i just heard about. The thing is I live in the UK so Im wondering does anyone know where I can get myself a copy of the dvd it in the uk?

Tried looking on the net but didn’t find any resellers so I’m kinda stuck.

Like most people around the world me and my family started fasting on the 13th of September. Many expect Eid to be on the Oct 13 making it 30 days in this Ramadan (since 29 days is not a regular occurrence). This means that we will have spent 5 Fridays in a row fasting this Ramadan.

Someone said it is uncommon for there to be 5 Fridays in a single Ramadan which is what will happen if Eid will be on October 13.

If it is uncommon for there to be 5 Fridays in a row in Ramadan then Eid should (technically) fall on Friday.

If this happens then there will be two Khutbah's on Friday, the Friday khutbah and the Eid khutbah. I have heard people say that for there to be two khutbah's on a Friday means that there is a burden on the world, i.e. this is not a good sign for the state the world is in.

Any more input on this brothers and sisters?

My computer has been randomly crashing with bsod(blue screens of death). It happens almost every day now. It tends to happen when i am browsing the net, but it can also happen when I'm not even using it or simply typing.

Here's some of the errors it's showed when crashing:

-irq not less or equal

-page fault in non paged area

-bad pool header

Sometimes with these errors the name of a specific file is given. Once the ‘page fault in a non paged area’ error came up and a specific filename was given - win32k.sys. I have also seen the ntfs.sys file being linked to one error.

I have also noticed that programs tend to crash a lot more when I am using them – specifically IE and Mozilla.

Are there any diagnostic tools that will help me locate the source of the error?

Is it a case of corrupted files in the system?

Is it hardware or software related?

Is it a virus?

Had this problem few months ago but I did a clean install. Now its back again. Please help me

I have tried Kaspersky which is an all in one protection suite but I found it slowed down my computer and wasn't worth the price I paid for.

I am now using the free version of AVG and am considering zone alarm as the firewall. Both are freely available.

Are the commercial AVG and zone alarm any good?

Are there any antivirus and firewall software, which are freely available and are effective in their protection?
