Everytime ESPN commentator Jeremy Schaap talks it sounds like he is trying to do an impersonation of his late father Dick Schaap.

I have been a regular news watcher for a long time and for awhile I have realized that most of the stories on TV news have very little impact on my daily life. I was wondering how many other people felt the same way.

If he is having such serious health problems that he is unable to vote on issues brought before the Senate maybe it's time for him to retire. Is he still adequately serving the people of Massachusetts? Is he remaining in the Senate for selfish reasons?

The left demonizes the right, the right demonizes the left. When will "change" happen and we move past this and start actually doing what's in the best interest of the country?

Now that the NBA Draft Lottery order has been set and the Clippers have the 1st overall pick (for the 3rd time in the last 25 years) and it's pretty much known that Blake Griffin will be the 1st pIck will he be able to make enough difference for them to even have a winning record?

Each of them claim to have better ratings than the other and come off as self-righteous blowhards.

It doesn't make sense to me but much of how Al Davis and Raiders management does things doesn't make sense to me.

For the past couple of weeks I have heard that people are waiting several hours in line to vote early. Why don't more people vote by absentee ballot? Don't all 50 states have the absenteee ballot system?

I'm hoping a lot of Democrats and Republicans are voted out of office.

It seems increasingly obvious they don't like each other. It also seems on any given night the longer Chris Matthews is on the more erratic, unusual things he says.
