  • How do you babyproof a catbox?

    I don't have this problem yet, but I foresee it. I don't want him playing in it, but I know if I "hide" the box, the cats may start having elimination problems... And then baby may discover the "accidents"-- which would make the problem worse, right?

  • Can you double dose K9 Advantix Topical Spot On for 55 lb+ if your dog is 100 lb? 150? 200?

    There is no Advantix product for dogs in the Saint Bernard weight range (160-250 lb in adulthood). Can we give him a double dose?

    Our Saint Bernard recovering from a flea infestation. He is on this third cycle of K9 Advantix Topical Spot On for dogs >55lb. Since he is so big, can we give him a double dose? The vet thinks it would be ok, but I want some second opinions! What do people with very large dogs do for topical treatments?

    (Because his fur is so thick, we didn't even know he HAD fleas until he ripped out his fur to the skin and caused a staph infection.)
