  • selling a house more to the story..?

    In December of 07 My husband and I moved to North Carolina to take care of his mother. Well anyways after we were here for less than a year she decided she wanted to move to Michigan and live in a nursing home.

    Now we have no family here.. We never did have friends here.So we have nobody to socialize with, nobody to talk to, nobody to celebrate holidays

    most of our family live in Michigan..Including my kids and grand kids

    I want him to sell the house and move to Michigan.

    How can we do this if the title is in my husbands name and also his mothers name if his mother is in a nursing home in Michigan?

    Also I had a hard time convincing him to even think about selling the house, but he finally agreed, but has taken no steps in pursuing it.

    Maybe he knows we can't because his mom is in Michigan..

    I am ready to just walk out the door because it's to depressing here being alone all the time..
