I have a 1500 watt and a 900 watt amp, both bridge capable. My speakers suggest that I run them on a 4ohm channel between 800-1200 watts each. How would I go about setting this up?

More specifically, should I be using bridge mode?

I am about to purchase a used car off of craigslist, and other than this title issue, the car and seller seem fair. The seller originally was the owner of the car, up until yesterday, when he signed the title of the car over to his friend to sell while he was traveling. his friend is going to accompany me to the secretary of state to complete the title transfer and have it registered. Once the title is transferred, I will pay him, which he agreed to.

My question is: can you transfer the title without going to the SOS, then transfer it again, or does each transaction have to be made aware to the SOS. I guess more specifically, at the present moment, who is the owner of the vehicle? The original owner, or his friend?

Sometimes, when I am mad or feeling down, I like to sit on a peeled banana without my clothes on while listening to Celine Dion. The other day, I told my friends that this is what I do to relieve stress and they all started making fun of me and calling me napes and they won't stop!!! My mom knew that I did this and was ok with it until the other day and now she won't let me do it anymore. She's just like one of my so-called friends! So I've been especially angry and to get back at her i pooped in my pants and wiped it all over the floor and made a mess, and she is really really mad at me. I feel like i got her good and it was fair punishment but she won't let me do anything I want. How do I get back at her to make her let me do what I want to do?

My laptop's hard drive is toast. If it actually starts windows, it freezes after 2 minutes. Is a program like norton ghost, or another type of hard drive imaging software absolutely going to be able to successfully copy windows vista from one hard drive to another?

The thing is, I would rather just spring for the new computer if there is any doubt that a program can successfully do that. But I'd much rather pay $120 for the software and hard drive than pay $500 for a whole new computer...but either way I'm not paying for both.

Ok, so my teacher has given us the parallel of Rousseau to Plato, not only in their ideas of government but about their thoughts on the mind and the origins more or less of intelligence. First off we just got done discussing John Locke's Tabula Rosa, and how he believes that ideas are formed by the mind based off of experiences. My teacher then made a segway into the relationship between Plato and Rousseau and their opinions on democracy. From there he got kind of murky with exactly whose idea was whose, and ended up discussing how Plato had a differing opinion from Locke in that all ideas are innate in the mind (e.g. how can someone recognize that something is beautiful without first knowing what beauty is?)

So, 1) Can this platonic philosophy be related back to Rousseau and if so, where does Rousseau talk about the general idea

And 2) does this idea contribute to Rousseau's social contract like Locke's Tabula Rosa can be shown to be an integral part to his government philosophy?

I may be overthinking this but I don't want to look like an idiot tomorrow. A preliminary court hearing (specifically for a dui) Is just where you show up and plead guilty or not guilty correct? And I don't need an attorney (In this case a pd) for this appearance....or am I wrong and screwed when I go into court tomorrow?

I jailbroke my ipod about a year ago (3.0 firmware) using yellowsn0w and since then I have installed ALOT of things from cydia and installous, but I am finding an increasing number of things in the cydia store that require 3.1 and won't work on 3.0.

Is there a way to upgrade to 3.1.2 (I have the .ipsw already on my computer) and jailbreak using blackra1n without losing things that I have installed from cydia and installous?

Ok I'll make a long story short.

I'm currently in college, and have been looking for a relationship for a little while now. This past summer I had a thing with a girl I like back home (for me, that's probably an hour and fifteen minutes), and we both kinda knew going in that it would only last for the rest of the summer. But here at school, none of the girls interest me the way she does and i've come to the conclusion that I am really into her. I saw her a few days ago and though we didn't bring it up I have a feeling she is still into me.

So as high school-ish as this sounds I'm looking for some advice. I want to tell her that I still really like her but I'm not sure how she will take it.At this point I am willing to hold out for her until breaks....

Ok, so how would you adjust the timing on a newer car like a 96 Contour? I don't think that it's as simple as adjusting the distributor though I could be wrong...

The belt is brand new and the crankshaft and the camshafts are all at TDC, but the engine is idling under 800 RPM.

I have a 1996 Contour, and I have noticed that over time the idle is a little rough, and it has gotten worse. I have no tach in my car but i suspect that it is running a bit under 800rpm at idle. The timing belt and one of the idlers were just changed recently so It's not the belt. How would i go about this?

Is it possible that an alternator can be going bad but still have enough life to run the car and many accessories yet not charge the battery enough that the car won't start?

Or is the battery that is fairly good going bad?

I have an Olympus fe-280 camera (point and shoot, very slim design, with a lens that extends from the body) that has worked fine for me up until this point. The other day I turned it on, and the lens went out almost all the way and then stopped and made a grinding and clicking noise, then it did this 3 more times before giving up. It then went out as far as it can go and stopped and finally fully turned on. It won't zoom in nor will it focus if I press down the shutter halfway. Can somebody help me?

So, for an annual fundraiser, my school sells raffle tickets for a raffle in which the top prize is $20,000.

In previous years, I've been pretty good about bringing in about $300-$320, but this year hasn't been so great. I have already gone door to door, sold to family and friends, and given some to my parents, yet I have only about $170 so far. I'm pretty sure that it's due to the economy, and especially because I live in Michigan. I really want to sell more, because there are HUGE incentives offered to us as we sell more and more (days off, dress down days, prize drawings, etc.) as well as the fact that this fundraiser pays for all the buliding maintainence each year, and keeps tuition from going down. (last year we brought in $309,000, and there are only 1,000 students)

So basically, I am wondering if any of you have creative sales ideas, I have a week left and I'd really like to see the amount I brought in go way up.

I have an assignment in English class to choose a reading selection (from an author in our textbook) that is not in our textbook, to read in front of the class as a speech, which basically means to read it creatively.

For the given time, I've already timed myself to be able to comfortably read 800-1000 words (about 4-5 mins long, give or take)

What I would like to know is if anyone has a suggestion on an interesting selection (poetry, short story, novel, essay, etc.) that I could do?

Ok, I need some advice soon...

I got in an accident today, but it was a wierd way it happened.

I was on the freeway going like 45 and the girl in front of me lost control trying to avoid an accident up ahead, and so because she hit her brakes and I hit mine, I did the same. I ended up hitting her because she hit the snow first, but theres nothing either of us could have done.

We called the cops but they said it would take a couple hours for them to responsd, so we exchanged info and agreed to figure it out later and both drove away.

Questions:

Can we still file a police report?

Is either one of us at fault/will one of us get a ticket?

Damage to my car was minimal, but hers was more...if we don't file a report, can she contact her insurance and say she got hit in a parking lot and the person responsible drove away? we both have no-fault so...

Ok, so my Gf and I have been going out for 4 months now, and it has been an amazing 4 months, I've honestly never met anyone like her and I am so in love with her, and she with me. But, yesterday she calles me over and we had a talk. She basically said that in the last week it hit her that something was wrong. She thought about it alot and said that shes not ready for a serious relationship right now. She said that she is still attracted to and in love with me, but a relationship is a little much at the moment. We both decided to be friends for now and see how things go like that, we are still going to call and text and see each other, but its not going to be the same. I also made sure to tell her that my feelings won't change and she is fine with that...it's going to be really hard to transition from being in love to friendship in about a week....

Do you think that we still have a chance of getting back together in that sense??

So, I have a situation on my hands and im worried+nervous because I don't know what's going to happen...

I was turning onto a road off a main road and there was someone waiting to turn left onto the main road. I slowed down do under 5 mph (it was snowing alot and there was snow/slush on the road), and started to turn. As I was turning, my car started drifting towards his car, and it looked like I was going to hit the guy, so I did everything I could to not hit him, but I ended up scraping his car(he just sat there and let it happen). I'm 17 and I don't know what to do exactly, but I have common sense. we pulled off into a parking lot and inspacted the damage. He had a couple scratches, and a small refelctor had fallen off,but I have scratches and a huge dent. My damage is greater. So he wants to call the cops, and being 17 and he being much older, theres nothing I can say to object. The cop comes, deals with him, and comes over to me and hands me a ticket for "driving too fast for road conditions" (remember, I'm going <5mph). He tells me that I need to appear in court WITHIN 20 days.

SO: I have a couple questions

1) Is that a legit thing to charge me with, or am I even at fault?

2) What does WITHIN 20 days mean? do I have a hearing, or is it just going to be a fine?

3) This is a big one...Michigan's insurance rules are crap, so I'm not listed on the insurance yet (its the only way we can afford for me to drive, and I have to drive myself to work and school) we also have no fault insurance. What is going to happen to the insurance?? Whats going to happen to me?? My parents??

4) Do we call the insurance, report anything?

5) If you know Michigan's laws, will my probation get extended...will I get points too??

I have never got a ticket, or in an accident, and have been driving for more than a year, and I am anything but a reckless driver.

I'm pretty sure there are tons of questions already like this one, but I hinestly don't have the time to sort through them and find what's relevant to me.....

So my GF and I have been dating for a couple months now and its coming up on Christmastime....Basically I'm looking for advice on what to get her.

She: Doesn't ever ask for much, is content with what she has, doesn't dress outrageoulsy but at the same time has a pretty full wardrobe, doesn't wear too much jewelry, nor does she wear too much makeup.

So, I was thinking, and especially since I'm barely making any money, I do something on the sentimental side (make a CD of our favorite songs...write a song...that kind of stuff), but I don't really get very many chances to buy her presents, so i wanted to get something, too.

So, guys, girls, what do you think??? My first thought was a simple charm braclet, or a hat, or something along those lines. Anybody got any other suggestions??
