What are the differences in the engine and/or body? I know the Mark II was a redone version of a Mark I but what was changed? Thanks and please no answers like "who cares?!" because I do!!

I don't get it. I get on the scale and see the same number even though my clothes are getting looser. I know muscle weighs more than fat but when will the scale go down?! I don't get it.
