This is an odd situation and I need some help. Please cite your sources so I know where to find the legal resources. Thank you.

I moved into an apartment and was approved. My boyfriend at the time also moved in and was told he had to be on the lease. So we both ended up signing the agreement even though he put no deposit down, I paid the full amount. Forward 2 years and we broke up. I moved out and was told by manager since I paid the desposit I would recieve all of it when he moves out. I gave my 30 days notice in writing too. Then fast forward to now I recieved a check for only a small amount. I was told the deposit was split because we were both on the rent ageement. Fees were taken out to clean the apartment. These fees I understand and am not disputing.

I feel that legally the other half of the security desposit belongs to me since my ex never paid a penny into it.

Am I still entitled to the half that was supposely given to my ex?

Update: Manager now feels that I should not have recieved a penny since my name was no longer on the lease.

Traditiomal and nontraditional celebrations.

I like Matt Damon. But I doubt many girls get dreamy about him. He's the type I would love as a great guy friend. I can't ever imagine kissing him and much less having a romantic fling with him. I think they missed the mark calling him Sexiest Man Alive. What do you think?

I mean yahoo just posted the article about how she is trying to sue some Indians who are making a replica of her Hogwarts school. They only want to model it and have some fun on their religious holiday and have no means of profiting from it. And she wants app. $50,000?!? Why? Does that mean if I make a cake in Mickey Mouse's image I should have to pay Disney Co. money too?

If I were her I would be honored for them to build something base on what I've had already made millions and millions on. It would be different if they were trying to sell it.
