Army, Hawaii Bound or Doomed?

I have heard that I can now draw BOTH disability and retirement pay at 20 years, up to 150% (if VA rating is 100% plus the 50% retirement) Can anyone confirm this? Thanks!

Does anyone know who providers phone and internet service for the housing at Ft Benning? I have heard NOTHING but bad things about the Windjammer company and I dont want to use them, but I dont know who to get for phone/internet if I use DTV or Dish for my cable.

We just pcs'd and we are living with my parents while my husband is tdy, we should get the prorated amount of rent back but I didnt know if we'd get it on the 30th/1st paycheck or if we'd have to wait till the 15th paycheck.

Hi! I am trying to get some information on Army MIT teams... My husbands assignment manager is trying to get him to join one, but we don't know anyone else who's been on one. Anyone know anything about them, what is communication home like? What are living conditions like? Is there a chow hall or how does eating work? Little things like that would be great information. Hi! My husband is tdy enroute from Hawaii to Ft Carson, stopping for TDY in Augusta, Ga for 4 months.... Where do we go? I have gotten so many responses to a previous post but everyone contradicts eachother. Maybe I wasnt specific enough. His orders will state his next duty station as Ft Carson and we are listed as his dependents..... I am so confused as to what will happen while he is in school~ Will we go on to Ft Carson, can we stay with my mom in Georgia, ect? One person even suggested they would send us to his home of record and not pay us BAH because his is in goverment quarters! Someone who has been through this answering my question would REALLY help!

Hi! My husband is going tdy in route for schooling for 4 months. My kids and I are going to go to Georgia and stay with my parents for the 4 months, but we are trying to determain where BAH will be drawn from since he wont sign into his new unit until after school, anyone have any ideas?

Has anyone been stationed at NATO or Cheivers? HELP, I am nervous about everything there and would like someone to give me their advice. We are thinking about doing a C.O.T. from Hawaii.

my husband really wants to go to Belguim for our next duty station, we have 16 years in and two kids, but I am fearfull something will happen to my mother while I am gone and I wont be able to get back or be there to help. Is there a way to get her command sponsored as well?

I am so sick of celebrities putting their opinions out there like the are the center of the world..... Who gives a crap if they ever get married or not? Why doesnt America worry about bigger issues, like our troops in Iraq or like the fact that the Lord Jesus Christ has been taken out of everything we do because the minority speaks for the majority and we let it happen!!!!!!!!

My husband is active duty Army and we will be stationed at Ft Shafter in December 2006. Does anyone know what the housing is like in this area? I know we can live on Ft Shafter or on AMR East or West, but I have heard really bad things about all of these area.... HELP! I need some guidance!
