I was just thinking about this because I noticed that when I'm "head over heels" about someone, I'm more likely to break my personal dating rules with him. When it doesn't work out (and I get my head out of the clouds), then I find it easier to stick to my rules with the next poor guy who happens to fall for me. Unfortunately, I'm usually not very much into him.

And, yes, I do give myself plenty of time between relationships. Do you experience this, too?

I'll go first. Today, I checked Y! Answers before I checked my work email (again).

I've always had this sense of impending DOOM. When I was finally old enough to drink (legally), I became 'scared to drink too much'. To this day, I stop at one or two drinks (even though I CRAVE more) because I'm afraid I will become a suicidal lush and not be able to stop on my own thus ending up in a ditch somewhere with a tight fist around the neck of some random bottle.

Anyone else feel this way? ...Anyone? ...anyone...?

Also, what would you REALLY like to ask someone when you first meet?

I get tired of being asked the SAME questions...(almost in the same order)...when I meet new people.

He's a great guy. The kind of guy my friends would love to meet. I don't want to lose him. The problem is that I was just getting comfortable with the idea of exploring my attraction to other women when I met him. That attraction for women hasn't gone away and I don't know if I'm ready for marriage. He sees marriage in our future. I can see myself married to him, too...or single for the rest of my life. Either way, I'd be fine. I just don't know how to make my same-sex attractions go away. I even have to picture women in my head when we're...you know. Otherwise, I can't umm...you know...finish. What should I do?
