  • Soccer(football) Tryouts quick question?

okay so i'm trying out for my city's club team and about over 200 people from different age groups showed up... anyways i went to one of the coaches who was observing my group playing and he said that i am good and that my only problems are that i have bad posture with the ball ( but then he said that could be that i'm a little tall), and that sometimes i struggle with my first touch with the ball, he also said i'm a good defender who hussles for the ball... so i was just wondering, if anyone would take this to consideration or disappointment?

  • A quick Soccer(football) question about defense?

I havent played a game for about a month 1/2, but i have been practicing my butt off, working on my control, passing, and shooting... However i dont have anyone to practice 1 on 1 drills with... My defensive abilties from when i was playing were great, so if i havent had defensive practice should i still be okay? My friend just told me to stay confident, and skills dont just go away....

  • Soccer (football) Help?

Ok, I really love to play soccer and in about a month im going to try out for a specific club team... (I'm 17 btw) But for the past two weeks i have had problems with the sides of my legs... I think there shin splints, but anyway, is it okay for myself to ice and rest my legs, until the severe pain is gone? When i say okay i mean if i rest for about a week will i lose any of my skills that worked hard to obtain?

And what can i do to stay in shape if i have to rest longer?

  • Is this a good deal? For Comics/Manga?

    Naruto volumes 1-40 (english)

and about 120 other manga volumes from various series such as One Piece, Dragonball, Pokemon, etc. for around.... let's say.... 40-70 dollars? I just want to get these books out of my room, so any amount of cash would do. I would probably sell them on Craigslist... or Ebay...

  • Soccer problem help!?

okay i'm in the 11th grade right now and am probably on the verge of making the varsity soccer team.... but theres one problem... Everyone keeps telling me that i need to play smarter (in this case pass correctly) Well to me the reason i'm not "playing smarter" is beacause i feel as though i'm not holding the ball long enough....like as soon as i get the ball i want to pass when i'm ready instead of just finding the nearest person as soon as i get...... Any thoughts, suggestions???

  • For Girls! I have a Question!?

I'm in high school currently and have to ask 2 questions::

I hear from alot of girls that i'm cute.... Not Sexy, not fine, etc. Just cute! So i just wanted to ask what do girls look for in a "Cute" guy???

And my 2nd question if a girl that has a boyfriend who talks to me in class and smiles, blushes alot around me... does that mean she likes me because for one, last year she said she saw picture of me from 2 years ago (we didnt know each other) and thought i was really cute... So not to get with her or make her breakup or anything but do you think she might like me???

With guys its soooo easy, cause you can talk about things you like but with women.... It's weird. Anyway what i'm trying to ask is how can i start a friendly relationship with just any girl???

  • Rest for a Soccer player?

Okay, I've been practicing soccer all summer now and have gotten so much better and now am worried that i might over train again like i did last year... Right now my body kinda hurts so i'm going to rest for about 2 days, so heres my question... if you take about a 2-3 day break from soccer/running will you lose your skill level // or will it decrease? I don't want to lose my hard work and practice starts next week.... I am also a fast runner and play defense.... btw
