  • 3-year old acting up?

Recently my 3-year old son has been acting very disrespectful, yelling NO and spitting whenever I tell him to do something. I don't know if this is a phase or just the age but I want to nip this behavior in the bud befroe it gets worse. I don't know the best way to handle it, any advice that has worked will help. Thank you

  • 2 year old won't take medicine!?

My son just turned 2 last week and got his first ear infection. The anti-biotic has a strong taste that flavor won't cover up. He usually takes any medicine really well, but now cries and fights. I don't want him not to trust me anymore if I try to hide it, but he needs to take this twice a day for 10 days! We're on day 3! Help!

  • What "real" food should I feed my 1-year old?

My son just turned one, and I need to start feeding him "regular" food! He really wants to eat the food we are eating, as well. I just don't know WHAT to feed him that is healthy and won't hurt his sensitive stomach. He gets really bad stomach aches when he eats protein, especially meats. The doctor said he doesn't need to eat meat, but otherwise said he can eat basically anything! I'm at a loss as far as what to give him at each meal, when, how much, etc. I still feed him baby food with some other food, mostly breads and pastas. I would appreciate any advice! Thanks!

  • Putting baby to bed awake - any suggestions?

My son is 9 months old, and I give him his bottle and he falls asleep in my arms at night. He sleeps fine, usually through the night, unless he's teething. I don't have a problem with our nightly routine, but I've heard, and my dr. says to put them asleep awake. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions on how to start this? Thank you!

  • Tips on finger foods and solids?

My baby is 9 months old and is eating stage 2 foods and puffs. The dr. said I can try cheerios and other foods now, like stage 3 and table food. He has 2 bottom teeth, but they say it doesn't matter. Any suggestions on what to try first and what works best? Thanks!

  • When to move baby from cradle to crib?

My baby is 4 months and he is still sleeping in a cradle next to me. I want to move him soon, since my husband is a snorer! He sleeps from 10:00-7:00am usually, but he stirs during the night anywhere from 1:00-5:00am. I put his pacifier in his mouth and he falls back asleep. I feel if he is in his crib, he will wake up at these times if I'm not there immediately, is this normal? Should I just leave him alone? Thank you in advance for any adivce!

  • Putting baby to sleep: is holding bad?

My baby is 4 months, I hold him until he falls asleep and then put him down. My husband thinks he knows everything and thinks this is bad. I feel he is too young to just put down while still awake and expect him to fall asleep. Help!
