How to get into Journalism?
I am in Australia, currently completing Year 11.
I have wanted to become a journalist since year 10, where I got great marks for English, always in the 85 - 99% area. But now in VCE, I am not getting good marks, 50% onwards.
I am wondering how much I need to rely on English to get into Journalism, and what tips would you suggest for me to improve my marksh. My teachers just tell me to study, but what am I supposed to study in English? No one really wants to help, but your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
2 AnswersMedia & Journalism1 decade agoHow to Temporarily block websites?
Ok, I set myself a timetable to fit in both school work, exercise, and recreation, then I quickly check how many hits I have for a video of YouTube, an hour or two later, it's dark outside and I have got nothing done.
Is there a programme that I can download and use (for free), that allows me to Temporarily block particular websites for a self set amount of time, and doesn't let me uninstall the programme until all blocked websites expire?
This would help me a lot! (or at least give me a push in the right direction)
Thanks!

I have just installed windows xp on my old 10gb hard drive, and it is working well. I have done this because it is thought that my 80gb hard driver has become corrupt in the area, that contains the ntfs.sys file required for booting. I still have the 80gb hard drive plugged into my PC as a slave and can access it but, the files seem to be hidden, because of a security issue, I think. I know all the passwords but can someone tell me how to use them as, I have some files on the drive that I would like to keep.
Thanks

I'm a 16 years old adolescent, living in Australia, my life is as boring as watching the grass grow, but I feel like I need to become an actor.
Is this just a faze or a real career choice?
And, what do I need to do to become an actor?
