  • What happened to my computer!?

Hi, I am a school principal and I do not want to call a pro when I can get answers for free on this. We use Zenworks, by Novell. It is an IBM computer that we have had for a few years, windows xp.

I went to turn on the computers one morning and when it started up (initializing mouse, telling you about hardware, all of that stuff, because of IBM) and there were some thick lines of green all over the screen! It went to the boot-up screen, windows xp, loading, and there were some grayish lines kinda blending in with the screen and some of the flag colors were mixed up, I saw a square of green in the blue part of the logo. After that it gave me the "no connection, check signal cable" thing it says to you every time you turn off the computer on IBM. The green light on the computer was still on, and in about 5 seconds it automatically turned itself back on and it basically did the same thing, but it gave me the "safe mode" screen and I chose last known good configuration and then it only did what it did before. The safe modes were pretty much useless because it was on a student computer, and I could not log into an administrator account. A few days later, it was doing the same thing, but before it went off the BSOD flashed at me. I have searched the Internet many times, but I have found nothing. Please help me.

    Thanks in advance
