Ok I am in MANY AP Classes and am involved in various extracurriculars throughout my school.

I am President a club, co-president of another, and treasurer of another.

I am volunteering at a hospital this summer and will also be volunteering at a vacation bible school just like last year.

I have been involved in many science/math competitions and have a few awards for show.

My average is a low A, with my grades generally hovering around a B+ or an A-.

I got a 2200 on my SAT and 34 on my ACT. Where do you think I stand in the admissions process?

Really have no idea where I stand in the college application process, don't know where my grades and scores stack up when it comes to getting into colleges. Can you guys name some colleges that you think I could have a shot at getting into and then safer choices.

I want to become a doctor btw so a premed program is what I'm looking at.

GPA 94.1 UW 96.8W

AP's: Bio, World, Lang, Lit, Stats, Physics B, US, Physics C, Calc BC, Chem, Eco, Gov, Psych

I'm going to assume all 4's and 5's because I'm a really good standard test taker and will have the work ethic to at least get 4's although I'm hoping I don't get anything less than a 5 on any, but it's not the end of the world if I don't. Yes, I know the grades on these don't matter too much.

SAT's: 2200 gonna retake, 800 Math, 700 Cr and Writing

SAT subject tests, Math 1- 700, Bio M 740, didn't study for those, gonna take 2 or 3 more at the end of this year.

So what colleges do you think I have a chance at, and what colleges are safer but not actually safeties (I guess they're called targets?)

Also I was interested in the Macaulay honors college at brooklyn, but have no idea what grades you need to get in, any one know if I have a shot there?

Just wondering, when you see people posting average GPA's and such for the people getting accepted at a college, are those GPA's weighted or unweighted? Generally speaking of course, i'm sure they vary.

So I'm new to the whole elder scrolls thing, but i'm not new to RPG's and i know I'll love this game. I just don't know what race I should be. I really want my character to be amazing with magic but don't want to leave melee untouched because being only a mage seems difficult. What race should I be if I want to be really good at magic (mainly destruction and conjuration I think) and also good with one-handers?

I need to make a catapult or trebuchet that will launch a small pumpkin (the ones you make jack-o-lanterns with) 1 meter (doesn't sound too hard). But I have no idea where to begin, can someone give me some tips or link me to somewhere that will help me get what I want (have to build it by friday)

I read Native Son by Richard Wright this summer and I annotated it heavily and thoroughly read it. Tomorrow I have an essay response to the book on a prompt i have no idea about. Would anyone be kind enough to please share some common themes and ideas I should remember that could help me in the case of any prompt.

Simples things likes themes (ie. blindness) would help greatly. Symbolism would also be extremely helpful, any forms of symbolism would greatly be appreciated.

Ok so I was wondering something.

I know for a fact that most colleges take out things like band and the easier classes when considering your gpa and often schools will use unweighted gpa.

In my school graders are computed on a 4.4 scale.

A+ 4.4 97+

A 4 93+

A- 3.6 90+

B+3.3 87+

B 3 etc

B- 2.7

C+ 2.3

etc

I want to know how cornell will consider the A- to A+ grades. Will they consider them all standard A's for gpa calculation therefore giving me 4.0s for all the classes with 90+. Or do they consider like 95+ a 4.0 and 90-95 a 3.7?

This always made me curious because people have told me that they consider a 90+ an A so a 4.0 will be given to al those grades. Others says there are differences in GPAs for my schools A- and A+ i was just curious to see if anyone knew how they calculated these grades.

Pretty self explanatory, will they really look down upon that?

and can i make up that score with an 800 on math 2?

I got a 690, should I retake it? I really want to get well above that but is it worth it
