  • wrench to use for oil drain plug?

I own a 06 buick allure/Lacrosse, I am wondering whether the drain plug uses metric or empirical sizes, after few trials, the plug seems to be between 9/16 and 11/16, or with metric set, 14mm and 16mm, in other words I haven't been able to find a proper fit. I have also found the part number for the drain plug, OES Genuine W0133-1655521. I would like to know the size of wrench that I need.

  • towing capacity of a 2006 Buick LaCrosse?

I am planning on towing a U-haul trailer with my vehicle, the max towing capacity listed on my owner's manual is 1000 lbs. The trailer I had in mind self-weighs 900lbs which does not allow me to carry much. I would like to know, perhaps based on experience, if the 1000 lbs limit can be compromised.

ps. It will be a 4 thousand kilometer travel, primarily on highway setting.
