(the rest I know are true so please just look at the two above... I m torn between them because I m having trouble interpreting "naturally produced" and I know interferons can cleave RNA but my textbook never describes them binding to it)

So there's this guy, who's one of my friends, and I've liked him for almost a year. I don't know if anything will ever happen, but I'm trying to decide if I should drop hints to try and make it happen (because I think he might be interested, but it's hard to tell.)

The thing is, everyone keeps telling me that he wouldn't make a good boyfriend and that I should aim higher. He plays a lot of videogames, and has some emotional baggage and lack of social skills, but he's also really nice, fun, and considerate at times (not to mention, I also have baggage so I'm not one to judge). I can see that they are probably right though, and that it would take a lot of work and stress to make it happen, but I've tried and I can't stop liking him.

I also don't want to complicate things in my friend group… but the thought of not even giving it a try really physically hurts to think about. Every time a friend discourages me, I get really sad.

This is an attempt to either motivate me to stop, or encourage me to at least give it a shot (I know emotions aren't that easy to erase, but I'd love to hear if others have been in this situation). What do you all think? Has anyone had experience with this kind of thing?

We started dating when i was 14, and have been together for 3 years (i'm 18). the thing is, he's 21, and i'm about to move in with him. the two of us have always thought we were perfect for each other, but now i'm just not sure.

i feel like i've changed, but i still love him, i just don't know how exactly i love him (and i'm afraid to be alone). i also don't want to hurt him, because he said he wouldn't ever have another successful relationship if this one ended badly.

there are times when he is sweet and cares so much about me, but also times when he doesn't really consider my feelings. He gets mad when i choose to hang out with my friends instead of him (which isn't often!) and mad when i texted a friend more than him, even though it was his fault for forgetting to answer my texts. he said before that breaks weren't an option, so i have no space to think this through.

So he went to Europe for vacation so can't text me, but we've been talking a bit on Facebook. Suddenly (today), his facebook account doesn't exist anymore. I could email him (which might get through), but what do you think it means? It could be his parents making him, or something else... but he wouldn't try to break up with me by doing this, right? I just want a second opinion. I trust him to be honest and I don't think he'd cancel his whole facebook account, but what do you think?

I think I love him, and he said he thinks that he loves me. He said that he doesn’t like her anymore, and even that he wouldn’t get back together with her if she asked him to (because he was emotionally scarred when she broke up with him). At the same time, SHE broke up with HIM, and he really liked her. He still texts and IMs her every day, and I feel really, really jealous. Am I justified to feel this way?

I also feel inadequate, because he doesn’t contact me nearly as much as he used to (we’ve been dating for about a month, but have been really good friends for about 6). I know that I’m being spoiled and selfish, but I have low self-esteem and am really worried that he’s getting tired of me, or that I’m just a replacement girlfriend (because I’m a lot like his ex - we have similar interests). Any suggestions? Is it ok for him to talk to her as much as he talks to me?

So my boyfriend broke up with his last girlfriend about a year ago. They were close and they have the same interests, and he still liked her before he started dating me (she broke up with him). He claims to not like her anymore, and to like me, but they still talk a lot over facebook and when she comes and visits from college. Should I be worried? I'm jealous, but should I be? I mean, they are friends and it's just talking about things they both like, but I'm a bit worried... Any advice? - I'm new to dating... -.-

So for a chemistry lab we catalyzed the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide using KI as the catalyst. Once mixed, the solution turned from colorless to orangish. Why is this? I know that it has something to do with the iodine/iodide ions, but can you please explain it to me?

Ok does anyone know when the rest of FMAB (Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood) will be dubbed? I've heard that interviews with the cast say that it's already dubbed and that the DVD will come out December 28th. Is this right?

Also, they're restarting from episode 1 on adult swim. Does that mean when they get to 26 they'll air it and not restart again?

Hello. I really need help... I know you should use the quotient rule, but I keep getting the wrong answer.

My attempt:

y' = ((e^x)'(1+x) - (e^x)(1+x)')/ (1+x)^2

--> (e^x (1+x) - e^x (x^-1))/(1+x)^2

--> (e^x (1+x+x^-1))/(1+x)^2 (but this isn't right, apparently)

I have microsoft office word on a macbook laptop, version 12.2.3. I have looked on google but I can't find the "office button" on this version of word, or the "options" button. Does anyone know how/where I can find the right menu to change the setting and make it so that the delete button will delete highlighted text again (It just randomly stopped working but the delete button itself is working fine).

ok, so this guy at school, who I've known has had a crush on me for a while, just asked me to be his girlfriend... I really don't think I feel that way about him, but he's a good friend and I don't want to hurt his feelings. I said ok, but I don't know if I really want to go through with it. At the same time, I don't want to lose him as a friend. Anyone know what I should do? This is the first time anyone has even liked me and I'm 15, a Freshman in high school (if it matters).

I am a big fan of bleach and Inuyasha, but have run out of english dub episodes for both :(. I was wondering if anyone knew any good, action-packed anime that has romance in it? An interesting plot would be great too... Thanks! :)
