I am currently unsure whether I should start learning a new language or not. I can speak French and English fluently and I am learning German and Japanese (I am more advanced in Japanese).

Recently, I've thought of beginning to learn a fifth language. I don't know if I should learn Mandarin or Korean... whenever I think about learning these languages, they sound really cool but I don't have enough interest in them to be motivated.

Should I just stick my the languages I'm learning right now? What do you think? Thank you!

In my free time, I like to recreate miniature models of ski-lifts and gondolas. I don't know why but I since I was little, I have been fascinated by how ropeways work. It's a bit like someone who is obsessed with cars but for me, it is with ski lifts... am I weird for being so interested in ski lifts? I just love to watch how they work and the variety that exists. Thank you!

I am currently in high school and in my free time, I enjoy learning Japanese by myself. I have been learning the language for 3 years now, but I always feel guilty after studying it because I feel like I am neglecting my school work. I always do all of my school work and get great grades, but I still feel guilt for some reason... what can I do? Thank you!

So I know that I might sound a bit silly for feeling sad about this, but my favourite band (°C-ute, a Japanese pop band) will be breaking up in less than a month and I am slowly realising that the break up will actually happen. What can I do to feel better? Thank you! :(

I am planning on uploading the first episode next week, but should I already make a trailer for it (so that my fans can look forward to it)? Thank you!

I enjoy to perform my dances in front of audiences when my parent's guests come to our house. I already have lighting but other than that for additional effects, I have nothing. How could I make my small stage more interesting? My style of dancing is modern and has organised moves.

So I am 16 years old and I am currently studying for my IB at school. I am pretty busy but I do have some free time! I am taking German classes as part of my diploma and I have been self studying Japanese since 3 years now. I was wondering if I had the time to start to learn a third language? I really want to learn Korean but I don't know if I will have enough time with all of my homework and other languages to learn. Should I set a bit of time to learn Korean or not?

So I know that this might sound a bit silly and stupid but I have been obsessed since last year with this Japanese group called "Berryz Kobo". I am feeling a bit sad right now because I just watched their final concert (they broke up in 2015) and now I'm feeling down and unhappy. I really love the group for their music, choreography, and each individual member, and knowing that they will never be performing again makes me sad. What should I do to feel better? :(

I love j-pop (Japanese pop music) but I have read some comments on j-pop music videos and some people can be so rude and insulting! I personally do not like rap music but even if I saw a rap music video on youtube, I wouldn't start writing horrible comments because I am respectful.

I understand that not everybody likes j-pop but I am sad that some people can be so rude! Sorry if I am sounding whiny. What do you think of that?

So I am in 12th grade (I have 2 more years until I graduate) and I am currently doing the International Bachalorea (IB). My grades have been great until recently where my quality of work has dropped a bit. 3 weeks ago, my parents went to the parents-teacher night and all of my teachers told my parents that I am a very enthusiastic student that is very passionate and studious however, a few of them told my parents that I need to study also outside of class because we are not "spoon fed" information anymore.

I got surprised one day when I got a 3 on my geography homework (it is out of 7 and I usually get 6's). I felt upset but I worked a lot in all of my subjects and I am seeing the difference already! However, my geography teacher was sick and hasn't been back for a few days, and they will start writing reports soon. I would like to impress him by him giving me another homework or task to do but he isn't here. :/ He will only have my 3 as the most recent homework that I've done. (I looked again at that homework and I understand it now.)

What should I do? I don't want him to think that I'm a bad student that has dropping grades. I'm feeling a bit upset about this.

So I am 16 years old male and I love listening to jpop! Recently, I have been sharing some of my music with my parents and they seem to like it, but they say that it sounds like it's made for babies.

Honestly, I don't care if someone listens to kids' songs but jpop is not necessarily only for children. Most of the songs that I listen to don't have any themes about sex or drugs. However, some songs could be considered "sexy" or "mature" like this one:

So basically, my parents have told me that my music sounds stupid and annoying. I don't force them to listen to it although I would like it if they could at least appreciate it for what it is. When they show me their music, even if it's not my taste, I will still say that I enjoy it and point out the positives of it. What should I do? Sorry if I sound so whiny... but jpop has helped me go through hard parts within my teenage years.
