  • Why will my computer not play my videos.?

I can download and play pretty much anything from the web, but when I download from my video camera I can hear the audio, but the screen is just black.

I can download the video onto a dvd and play it through my TV or upload to youtube or wherever, but just can't play it on my machine. Any ideas on what settings I need to change?

  • Do you play with your dog in a dog park?

How many people actively play with their dog when they go to a dog park. I hardly ever see people playing with their dogs, just milling around and talking while their dogs run around and entertain themselves.

Do you think it is healthy/normal to take your dog there and just ignore it expecting others to entertain it?

  • Has my boy's cracked elbow affected development of drive?

CK is a 16 month show lines BC who has just decided that he is not a couch potato, but is a stereo typical Border Collie. He is now beginning to do things and learn as my girl did at about 6 months. He broke his elbow and had to be confined for 6 months at the age of 4 months (ie: 4 months to 10 months). Until the last couple of weeks he hasn't really had a lot of drive, but is now making up for it. While some people would see this as a bad thing, I'm loving this 'new' dog even more than the old one because he is so much easier to train.

So, the question is.......If you keep a dog confined/subdued in their ealy development stages like we did, does it inhibit the development of drive or would he have developed this way and on this schedule so to speak any way?
