I'd like to be assertive. How do you get someone to do something for you? by saying it assertive. How would you come across someone and say it assertive to get your point across. Please, lead and would like your opinion.

Hi, I recently applied to a company for a sales position. I went for the first interview, it went well. The interviewer then gave me information about the company and said If you are interest for a 2nd interview, please read over the company values and get back to me in a few days if you're interested in setting up a 2nd interview. I went home looked over the company information and sent a email back and called stating I would like to setup a another interview. Now, it has been 4 to 5 weeks, no response, Did I do anything wrong or right? How do I get another interview, how am I suppose to ask. Because they still haven't got back to me, do I pursue or wait? please help me out.

What is your opinion, A friend requests me to be their friend, what do I do with the request, because sometimes, I feel bad for just going to deny them?So, I usually don't accept nor deny the request. do I just leave it in my box and over time, and I'm sure they'll delete it, which I think, but sometimes I let it sit there, should I just accept them. How do you feel about this topic?

I currently dropped this friend from facebook because they gave no respect in return. I felt I had to because I did want them to know what I was upto in my life from moving on. making them wonder about me. Did I make the correct descion? or is this showing that they have control over me or a compromise.. Maybe I may over think things too much but that is how I am built. I feel I did the right descion, what is your opinion.

I am looking for opinions. See, where everyone else is coming from on this topic. Is it even possible to still give respect to someone, after they don't respect you in return. is it best to move on and forget about someone such as a friend you cared about. Drop them from your life, etc, get rid of them out of your life! is that the healthy approach. What is the proper ettiquette. I believe well if they don't give you respect back why should you give it back to them. is this what you would do. cancel them, what if they contact you in the future, do you give the same ignoring treatment back?

I was talking to this girl. I was all smooth with her, she even gave me her no. with out me even asking and has a boyfriend. I know it is a waste of my time but hey she isn't married. Then Johnny nice guy came around on my shoulder and screwed it up for me. I got too mussy tousy, sentimental and said wussy stuff. After, I txt her, I didn't get a responds back. Girls say anything can be fixed, but the mussy tousy stuff kinda ruined it for me. Well, I still don't think I didn't do anything wrong, but I overthink sometimes, like about mussy tousy ****. Unless her boyfriend caught her talking to me. What should I do? I think, I should just move on because I got no problem meeting women, on the other hand I kinda liked her. I just found some food in the freezer from "best if used by Nov 2006" well it is 2010, that is 4yrs old food, is that food safe to eat or will I get sick. I did try eating food expired but got sick. Could you get Botulism from eating 4 year old frozen food or even canned goods?

I'm trying to figure out what is the proper "etiquette" for texting. When you receive a text do you or do not respond to the text given at the time? What is the proper time limit to respond to a text? This topic has been around on the internet, but still haven't found a clear reasoning. (If, I receive a text, I will usually respond to it.) This question to answers will help others that get annoyed when someone texts and doesn't respond or vice versa.
