iPhone 4 calls to voicemail issue?
So I've had my phone a couple of weeks and most the time people cannot call me without it going straight to voice mail. I've tested this myself from other phones and it seems that when I am on 3G it works fine, but when I am on edge, this is when it goes to my voicemail. Is this a problem with just the iPhone, or will I have the issue on any AT&T smartphone? I am not sure what to do at this time.

2 AnswersOther - United States1 decade agoNigeria scam through paypal & Craiglist?
We almost became a victim of this so called Nigeria scam. We put a Nintendoo Wii on Craiglist and got a response. This guy wanted to do this locally, but had to go out of town. He wanted us to ship it to his partner in Nigeria, and fast. We were told the money was in our paypal account and would credit our account once we sent a tracking number. I didn't feel good about it from the start, but my husband thought since it was through paypal, it was safe. We had issues with shipping it as the buyer didn't give us enough money for shipping. He added it later but then was rather rude to me in the email. I felt wary because of the poor grammar in the correspondence. We decided to cancel it and deal with this locally. We canceled the money through paypal and then get this email from paypal that we need to send them the tracking number or we will be arested today. Yes, they misspelled arrested.
I am so glad we did not fall for this scam completely. But I know some people are not so lucky. I wish there was something we could do to bring justice to these scammers.
Please, do not deal with any purchases to Nigeria, because this i smore than likely a scam!
8 AnswersSecurity1 decade agoHow much should I settle for in my motor vehicle accident?
Just over a year ago I was a passenger in a car that was hit by a 17 year old. This past year I have been under medical care as a result. Whiplash, migraines, neck and shoulder pain, and just chronic pain, as my doctor called it. Multiple meds, injections, physical therapy, chiropractic care, the works. It has been a living hell between the pain and the depression, not to mention the other side effects from the meds. It changed my entire life as I knew it. And it effected my 7 year old & hubby. I am finally getting to where it is about time to settle with the kid's insurance company (he was at fault). The pain is at least 90% better. I don't think I will ever be 100% better and may need more treatment in the future. My total bills were just over $32k. I am going to try and settle without a lawyer. I am not looking to get rich, but I want to know what is fair to ask for. I know I need enough to cover the bills, time missed from work, but what about pain and suffering? What can I expect?
5 AnswersInsurance & Registration1 decade agoLegal Downloading and compatible with an IPOD?
I am wondering where I can download music, preferably unlimited with a monthly fee, that is actually compatible with an IPOD. If that is not an option, I am just willing to pay per song. What is the best option for downloading single songs and be compatible with an IPOD. Please don't say limeware as that is not completely legal.
5 AnswersMusic & Music Players1 decade agoDoes anybody know how to remove a pencil mark under the skin?
My daughter accidently poked herself in the knee with one a while back and the pencil left a mark and it will not go away. Please no comments like..."use an eraser."
4 AnswersSkin Conditions1 decade agoWhen to settle, how much to settle and do I need a lawyer?
I was a passenger of a car accident (not at fault party) back in December. I obtained whiplash (shown in x-rays) and have suffered with migraines, backaches, neckaches, and shoulderaches daily since then. I have been on multiple meds, tried physical therapy (4 months), chiropractic treatment (still going), cortisone shots, and nerve blocks, none of which have helpd. CT scan and MRI came out negative. Most recently I had my nerve endings burned with radio frequency. I am positive this make my pain go away, however it is not a permanant solution, it may only last up to a year. So far I have $12,000 in medical bills. I may need future care. How long after I am pain free should I settle? What can I expect to settle at? Also can I get future money for care without a lawyer? I am not looking at making a ton of money, but I have suffered quite a bit. It changed my life tremendously. I mess up the simplest of tasks because the pain and meds. I can't enjoy the things I would normally do.
3 AnswersOther - Health1 decade agoWas in car accident need help!?
I was in a car accident back in December. I was not at fault and have sustained injuries. So far I have about $10K in medical bills, and $2500 in car damage. The car damage payment has already been paid. I am still seeking medical treatment. I am not getting a lawyer at this time, though I have spoken with one and he said if I need money for future medical, than I will get one at that time. (I have two years to settle from the time of the accident) The insurance company needs copies of my bills. What all can I send him other than prescriptions, medical bills, and OTC stuff as a result? Can I send phone bills (I only have a cell phone so my minutes are waisted trying to contact them), mileage to and from appointments, the cost to copy and mail the bills? What can I charge them for all this? Any advice would be apprecited! Thanks!
9 AnswersInsurance & Registration1 decade agoUpcoming Pain Relief Procedure?
Ive been dealing w/ whiplash pain for 4 mnths. I've been on multiple migraine meds, abortive & preventative. Ive already had 1 series of occipital nerve blocks from the neurologist, who also said I have muscle spasms as a result of accident
Ive seen a chiropractor since February. X-rays show loss of my cervical curve. I recently had an MRI which oddly came out normal, yet I am still in lots of pain. I still get the migraines, & my neck is killing me on a daily basis.
I also go to physical therapy. They have tried many different types of therapy, light therapy, massage therapy, and others to no avail. My headaches have gone down in severity, but I still have them, along with the neck pain daily. They have about given up on me. We are now working on strengthening my neck muscles.
This week I get a cortisone shot to the back of my neck, & the Dr thinks it will help, but if not, next step is a nerve block in the spine. Anyone have experience with this treatment? I am quite nervous
2 AnswersPain & Pain Management1 decade agoSoft tissue damage not showing on MRI?
I was in a somewhat minor vehicle accident back in December 06 (not at fault) and still have neck pain and migraines. I was told I have whiplash and have been seeing a chiropractor, physical therapy, and I am on multiple medications for pain and prevention. I am still suffering with the neck pain and headaches and it has been three and a half months. My muscles should have healed by now. I just had an MRI of the brain and neck and both came out normal. Is that normal for soft tissue damage to not show up on an MRI? The next step that my neurologist wants to do is refer me to an anesthesiologist to get nerve blocks to my neck so I can stop feeling the pain and hopefully heal. It has been a long process and I am tired of being in pain and tired of all these medical appointments.
6 AnswersPain & Pain Management1 decade agoRoyal Caribbean-Enchantment of the Seas in May, suggestions?
I am leaving out of Fort Lauderdale in May. My Ports of Call are Key West Florida, Cozumel Mexico, and Belize City Belize. I am possibly interested in snorkeling as well as the Mayan Ruins. What are your suggestions for excursions? Also what about shopping. What do I have to to buy at each location? I am so excited! Also, should I book through the cruise, private company, or is it safe to wait until I get there and wing it? Any advice and suggestions are welcome! This is my first cruise and I know nothing.
4 AnswersCruise Travel1 decade agoSubrogation and/or Lawyer?
I was in a car accident (12/26/06 at no fault of mine) and was found to be injured two and a half weeks later. I have whiplash (X-rays show that, and neuro says strecthed neck muscles, muscle spasms, and inflamed occipital nerve casusing headaches, due to accident) and have been dealing with 7 weeks on constant headaches, neck/back pain, and nerve pain. Multiple pain meds and doctor's visits have failed. CT scan fine. I am seeing a chiropractor and neurologist. I start with physical therapy next week so I hope that works. I will be looking into a lawyer soon. I already notified my medical insurance to warn about lots of medical expenses & they had me contact their subrogation dept. Where they go after the third party insurance company for the money. Am I still entitled to see a lawyer? Is anyone familiar with this process? The pain has been horrible and has turned my life upside down. I am not looking to be rich by any means, but this isn't a quick fix and I could suffer for awhile.
6 AnswersPain & Pain Management1 decade agoHas anyone had anything similar to this before as a result of a car accident?
On 12/26 I was in a minor accident but was fine for 2 1/2 wks. Then I got a bad constant HA. Now I'm at 7 wks of constant migraine & neck/occipital nerve pain. I've tried countless meds all of which have failed to work. I've been seeing a chiropractor who said I have severe whiplash but has not been able to fix the headache. I have been seeing a neurologist & he said my neck muscles have stretched/strained as a result of the accident, which irritated and inflamed my Occipital Nerve. He gave me a Nerve Block, which failed to work. Now we are going to try physical therapy 2 x's/wk for four weeks.
Has anyone had anything similar to this before as a result of a car accident?
As far as the accident itself, it was of no fault of mine. I was the passenger of the vehicle, my husband was the driver. No one was injured, and I did not seek medical treatment. It was not until weeks later was I found to be injured. At this time I am no seeking a lawyer.
Any other Other advice is welcome.
4 AnswersInjuries1 decade agoIs this accident related?
I've had tension headaches for 2 weeks straigt, been on multiple meds all has failed, and had two CT scans that came out fine. I have nausea off and on and have a stiff and achy neck. I am irritable and depressed possibly from the constant pain. The doctor has no clue what is wrong with me then it dawned in me. I was in a car accident about three weeks before the headache came on. I didnt bump my head or anything, but there was enough impact to where my head could have jerked enough for whiplash. I saw a chiropractor who did take x-rays and saw a sign of whiplash in my neck. Is this causing my headache? Is it possible the symptoms were stagnant for three weeks? Do I have a case against the liable insurance company? They already accepted liability and paid to fix the car. Still working the diminished value investigation. Help me please! I am in so much pain and want to get better.
