I told my pen pal in Nigeria that I wouldn't cash any travelers checks for him, but he had someone here in the US send me 6 of them worth nearly $500 each anyway. I don't know who this person is (no return address) and I'm not about to cash the things. What should I do with them? I have Yahoo email and I can get emails from my pen pal, but he hasn't received my emails today or yesterday. We were emailing back and forth fine before this happened. I can still send emails to my other pen pals and they do get them. Can anyone tell me why this is happening? He doesn't have a yahoo address. Could that be part of the problem?
