Insurance Cost Starting Driver-?
Statement of Facts:
16 (soon turning 17)
Good Grades, above B, honors
Several after school activities (Student Council, if that is even relevant)
Impeccable driving history (no infractions)
State of Residence: Maine
Rural/sub-city?
Insured under fathers plan, also clean record (51 and 1 ticket?)
Alright, I'm currently under my fathers policy and am driving his vehicle to school and back. Soon we will be purchasing a vehicle for my own, and I have a few questions. To be frank, I am looking at mustangs. Not v6s, but GT v8s, preferably standard transmissions. Dad's biggest problem is insurance, which is understandable. My question is how much said insurance would cost/ raise his existing policy?
-I like this model because I want a vehicle with performance. When I think of performance, Muscle comes into mind. The quintessential of this and most feasible is a mustang. Many older versions (such as 1990's, early 2000's) so they are affordable, and I just like them. Also I know a considerable amount of knowledge for my age about vehicles due to helping in my grandfathers garage past summers and many weekend projects.

A good Text-To-Speech program. One that can take over 1000 words and send it into a mp3 file. Anyone know of such a application? Ive tried several of them but they all need to be purchased, and im looking for a free one.

"In the United States, current income disparities threaten democratic ideals."
Now without doing any research I can come up with some immediate arguments
Pro-(for) It gives too much power to economic elites, causes corruption, politician with biggest campaign budget usually wins
Con-(against) Income gaps are normal and are found throughout history, gov. does not favor rich, free speech = money, limiting money is restricting speech.
What are some good points that can also be made? Also, could you elaborate on why it is a good point? Thank-you.

2 AnswersGovernment9 years agoI need to clear my computer of....?
I have a hp laptop with windows vista, and I always leave it open. With that said, my friends think its hilarious to google "gay black porn" along with hundreds of other variations of that, download images, and set as my background. I deleted the photos "that i could find" and changed background and cleared internet history yet I still think there are some remnants left. I ask how to fully clean my computer because I wish to use it this coming school year, and don't want any of that waiting to be discovered. How to I keep all my files and wanted items while still deleting the other stuff?
1 AnswerOther - Computers10 years agoI need help with dashboard hotswapping.?
I have an xbox 360 elite from like 2007 or 08 with a BENQ disk drive.
I have a WaW and a modded copy of WaW and have tried hot swapping several different times all with the same result. I cant actually play or download the modded version. It says "Installation of this game isn't supported."
I have xbox live and am up-to date with current updates, but have cleared system cache before doing any of this. I did everything perfect in this guide
http://www.xboxmb.com/forum/15-xbox-360-%E2%80%A6
Yet still get that same message. People say its patched but then no, the patch only effects xbox slims and then some say even with patch it still works (people from 1 week ago says it still works for them). So it has to be an error on my part. What am I doing wrong?

2 AnswersMonitors10 years agowhat is wrong with my smoke grenade mixture?
I order some things online to make a smoke grenade (for paintball).
I got KN03 (potassium nitrate)
Sugar
baking soda
I take a pan and heat it on LOW.
I add potassium nitrate and sugar. Mix until it starts to carmalize (which takes a long time)
add baking soda (gets really foamy)
mix and turn off heat.
I add to cardboard tube yet it does not perform correctly. The smoke is not very much and burns very quick, sometimes catching the container on fire. What could i be doing wrong?
60 gs KN03 + 40 gs sugar + tablespoon of baking soda

10 AnswersMilitary10 years agoJeep Wrangler Problems? Help needed (1995 Wrangler)?
I have a 1995 Jeep Wrangler 6 cylander with 150,000 miles.
The jeep has problems starting. It will turn over, but as it turns over power is lost on the dash (brakes, engine, and seatbelt lights) and will not start. The check engine light only is present half the time the key is turned on. Here is whats confusing, when the check engine light comes on, it will start (but will occasionally skip and sounds as if its a timing problem).
But when the light does not appear on the dash, it just cranks over. Its as if when your first turn it on, it doesnt do the standerded relay (lights turn on, hear fuel pump), and my dad has replaced many things on it. The 02 sensor, distributer, ect. When driving down the road, if it is running at low rpm's it will be sputtery (like it misses). Not to the extent where its not drivable, but every 10-15 sec there will be a lapse in acceleration. We did the check engine light codes and we got : 12-33-(55)
We checked the codes and dismissed 33 (something to do with a A/C circuite, but was not important) and 12 was not much help either. I need some help on what the problem might be. My father has exhausted large amounts of time through out his ownership doing check up and up keeps reguraly (fixes spots on frame, rubber coating on bottom, new fuel lines, distributer, Co2 sensor, and several others i cant remember, so this cant be a matter of neglegance. He is thinking it may have to due with computer or some temperature guage.
What could be the problem? Here are some pictures to help get a better understanding:
