I want to learn Thai. So before joining a school, I want to be familiar with basics so that when I join class, I'll be able to grasp n learn soon.

As far as I've heard, the Thai words mostly are pronounced in nasal.

-Can u please give me the basic introduction of the tones and how can I grasp words to speak? Like what should I do to pronounce, understand and learn Thai to make it easier when I join classes? I've been watching Lakorns (finished watching almost all Nadech, Mark, Yaya n Kim's lakorn) but only managed to learn "chun" "khap" "rak" "khun" & "mai pen rai".

-And when do you use mai pen rai? Is it too polite?

I'm confused!! Recently I've started watching Thai drama! And I'm really confused!! I saw two pairs. One is Nadech-Kimberly and the other one is Nadech-Yaya.

Which is a real life couple?? And is Nadech paired with both the girls-Kimberly and Yaya in one drama?
