  • Featured role in music video?

I just got offered to be play a featured role in a music video for professional recording artist, Carla Bianco. This is not just an extra role, meaning you will clearly see my face on screen and I will be acting. Could someone please tell me how to put this on my resume?

P.S. - I'm putting this under "Theater and Acting" because it has more to do with acting and how to put it on my resume.

  • Should I put "Commercials" on my resume?

Should I put my "Commercial" experience on my resume. I've just finished filming my first commercial and I know that you are supposed to put "Conflicts available upon request" on a resume, but since I've only done one commercial, should I even put it on my resume? I feel as though if I put it, and they ask for my Commercial experience, they will be let down to know that I only did one commercial.

  • How to audition for an Equity show?

I was on Broadway.com looking for auditions in New York and I really want to audition for an Equity show. However, it says that you obviously have to be an Equity member. But to be an Equity member, it says that you have to have worked on an Equity show. I don't see how this makes sense. Maybe I'm not understanding it, but can someone please help me?

I understand that in the film business, you can audition (and have at least a chance of being cast in) for a union film without being in the actual union. Is it the same way for theater? Because on every single Equity audition posting, it says to "Bring you Equity membership card". I really don't want to go to an audition just to be told that I have to be an Equity member first and feel embarrassed, so I figured I'd just ask you guys.

    Please help me!

  • Chances of getting into college?

I just recently got accepted into Lincoln Park Performing Arts School. I wish to use my craft as a career someday and this seems like the step into the right direction. However, a few of the teachers at my school are very resentful to the fact that LPPACS seems to take a suitable amount of students from their school each year and my chorus took it upon herself to take me into her office to tell me that I am "not going to get into college" and that I should reconsider going to the school. All of the academics as the school are state certified, so I'm not sure if she is jealous of the school or she is sincerely looking of for my best interest.

My question is: Does going to a charter school lesser my chances of getting into a college at all?

Thanks for reading my question, please answer! :)

  • Would I put this on my resume?

I've just been accepted into Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School, and I'm studying musical theater there next year. I'm going to be studying several subjects such as "Acting for the Camera", "Scene Study", and others. Would I just merely put that I studied musical theater at LPPACS under my "Training" section, or would I separately list the classes that I take there? Or should I not even put it on my resume?

  • Questions about online demo audition link for Disney audition?

Hello, I'm a 14-year old actor. I'm auditioning for Disney Channel and I have a few questions. For help, I'll list the web page that showed me the audition, so you know what I am talking about when I ask the questions:

    http://www.filmtelevisionauditions.com/2%E2%80%A6

    Questions:

    1. Is says to submit a "link to an online audition demo". Should I give them a link to a youtube video of an audition monologue?

    2. What should I tape myself auditioning with? Just any monologue from a movie, play, or tv show?

If you've had any experience with auditioning for other TV shows or films and they have asked for you to give them a link to an online audition demo, please tell me what you did.

    Thank you and please help!

  • Does this sound like a good "game-plan"?

Today, in one of my classes, we were asked what we saw ourselves as in the future.

This is how I see myself in six years (I'm 14)...I'm looking to pursue acting as a side-career and study it at a performing arts college, while also having a side job of something as simple as a waiter. I'm not looking to become a famous actor that is rich, trust me. I realize that the odds of that are almost impossible and if you do become a famous actor, it's mostly based on luck. But I am hoping that through my studies and building up my resume, I would be able to turn my side-career into a full-time career.

Does this sound like it'd be a good plan for after I graduate from high school?

  • Aren't we all bi-sexual?

I've been thinking about this lately. Trust me, I know hardly anything about genes, but i've just been thinking.. aren't we all technically bi-sexual?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't there many genes that determine are sexual preference? Like a lot of them. And if there are, wouldn't that make the chances of someone being born 100% gay or 100% straight very slim?

Give me your thoughts on this and thank you for reading my question. Again, I know nothing about the science of genes, it's just a thought that came to my head. Sorry if I come off as ignorant to anyone, cause I'm not trying to be in any way.

  • Do i put this on my resume?

Okay, so about a month ago, I was an extra in this giant feature film. It's listed as one of the "biggest films of all time", that's why I really want to put it on my resume. But I know that your not supposed to put extra work on your resume, because it isn't considered "acting". But what if in the scene, you had to act scared, and its possible that the camera might focus on your face. Do you think it would be a good idea to put this small part of my resume to get an agent, even though I didn't speak in it?

  • What experience should I put on my acting resume?

Hello. My name is Ty and i'm an aspiring actor. I'm 13 years old and by the time I'm legally aloud to move out on my own, I want a pretty filled-up resume. I've been in two theater productions, an extra in a feature film, and taken a few acting and singing classes. My question is.. what should I put on my resume? Later this month I'm going to be starring in this student film. Should I include that in my resume? As I said, I was an extra in a major feature film. I was an "orphan boy". Should I put that on my resume? I know that your supposed to be theater work on your resume, but what about other things?

Thank you for reading this. Have a nice day. (:
