  • Verizon FIOS Customer Service Phone Number(s)?

I recently had FIOS tripple play package installed and right off the bat things aren't working as promised. They seem to have one general support number with options to choose from, but none of the options are for general customer support or complaints. One of the problems is after reporting an issue with the Verizon phone service, I'm told it would be fixed in 2 business days. Two days later when the problem still is not fixed, I call tech support again and then I'm told it will take 2 additional days due to an oversite at Verizon. I want to make sure all is working correctly before the short 15 day trial period expires. My concern is after this duration, they will not correct the issue and I'll be stuck with a service that I'm less than happy with. Prior to this I used Comcast for 5 years straight and for the most part all worked great and their customer service was always pleasant to deal with. Starting to wish that I didn't accept their promotion that sounded so great. Does anyone know of a number to call Verizon to voice my concerns? I want to remain a customer but not if service remains like this. Thanks

  • windows xp momentarily freezing up?

This problem has me totally baffled. I work in a small office, all Dell PC's with Windows XP Pro with SP2. The problem began about 3 months ago and seems to be happening to all the PC's on our network, but not necessarily at the same time. XP runs fine for a while, then suddenly stops responding for about 20 seconds, then back to normal again. During this momentary lapse, the mouse can still be moved on the screen with no hesitation, but clicking does nothing. Anti-Virus detects nothing wrong, also verified there was no spyware or adware on the hard drive. Windows updates are set to automatic and up to date. But now I'm starting to wonder if one or more of the WIndows updates are the culprit. Also all are running Office XP and have all the updates including Office SP3. Checking the event logs gave no clue either. Any clues? Please Help!

  • Jeep Grand Cherokee Check Engine Light Issue?

I own a 96 Grand Cherokee with an In-Line 6 cylinder with auto trans. The check engine light comes on as soon as I turn on the head lights. Further, although the engine is not over heating, the engine over-heat warning bulb to the extreme right of the analog temp gauge lights with the check engine light. By disconnecting / reconnecting the battery, the check engine light resets and remain off until I turn on the head lights. If I don't turn on the head lights, check engine light remains off. My guess is that there is a short in the electrical harness or possibly a bad instrument cluster bulb. Also I did the self diagnostics via turning the ignition switch on/off for 2 cycles the back on so to display a code. Two codes come up: 12 and 21 indicating a bad O2 sensor and the other indicating that power was lost to the PCM. But due to the behavior of when the Check Engine light being triggered by turning on head lights, I'm thinking it's a wiring issue. Thanks in advance for your help
