Where to apply for a retired working dog.?
After many years of work my father in law has suddenly found himself forced into early retirement due to a rare and rapid form of arthritis that has taken over his body. He is now beginnig to do all of the things he'd been putting off in order to be the family bread winner. He really regrets never having a puppy of his own and told me now he can't. He cannot get on the floor anymore and he cannot run. He can walk at a leisurely pace but cannot have a dog pulling on his arms. I told him that years ago my mother adopted a retired seeing eye dog and it was the best companion she ever had. These dogs are usually older, quiet dogs looking to retire. He's so excited., but I cannot seem to find any information in Ontario Canada about getting an application. If anyone has any ideas It would really be appreciated. Thanks
