Hi. So some background info about me. I'm currently a sophomore going into junior year. My GPA for this year is 3.72.

My Schedule this year is:

Literature

Accelerated Math 2

Spanish 2

Yearbook

Chemistry

World History

When I was a freshman I took AP Gov and scraped by an 84 after the AP weight and I got a 2 on the AP Exam. So I decided not to take AP World History like most people in my grade were doing. I this going to hurt my chances? I just didn't want to do badly on the exam again. The schools I'm thinking about applying to are:

Anyways...back to my question

I wanted to to know if extracurricular activities and being president of clubs count a lot towards your application because in my school being everyone gets involved in everything. Almost all my friends have amazing grades and perfect straight A's across the board and do extremely well in AP classes and I'm taking all normal classes and my grades fluctuate between A's and B's. There are also lots of people who do poorly in school and those who get mostly B's and a few A's. But they have sports and extracurricular to help back them up,

I'm in Spanish Club and Student Council. I wanted to run for officer for student council since I'm usually the one who spends most of my getting things ready for homecoming but other people want it also because it looks good on a college app. These things are usually popularity contests and I never end up in any position. So I'm stressing out about what to do!

I wanted to join a lot more clubs but there was always a miscommunication and I always never get in on time...so I was wondering since I'm going to be more involved junior and senior year(I'm determined to get in next year!), does that make me look like I'm only trying to get stuff in for my application rather than having a genuine interest in the clubs I'm joining? I don't know what to do anymore. College applications will be the death of me..

I really want the ipod nano 5th generation, but they don't sell it in store anymore. I went to ebay and it was about $250 i was thinking that instead I could just buy the ipod classic for $230 at Walmart. But then, I found out that gamestop sells refurbished ipods and their not too expensive. I saw a picture of the ipod nano 5th generation but it looks more like the 4th generation and it doesn't have a camera in the features do they change the case when they refurbish it and is it really the ipod nano 5th Generation?? I'm so confused!

I know this is another question but i was also wondering if I should buy the ipod classic or gamestop's old ipod nano. Oh! and what color?

I'm a freshman, which means we don't win anything. But this year, each grade is in charge of decorating a hallway. We also have to come up with a float and our theme is "Tame the Mustang" since that's who were playing. We're really stumped on what to decorate the hallway and the float.

Our mascot is a panther, if that helps. We already came up with putting streamers, posters, and pawprints all along the wall. Which still probably won't be enough for the hall ( it's pretty long)

Any ideas could really help! :))

We have to run the track everyday in PE, and I just can't do it. 'm not fat or anything, but I have a mild case of asthma, but my teacher doesn't seem to care. I feel like I'm about to pass out after a couple of laps. We can't bring water with us so I get dehydrated. My left leg hurt bad at first around the shin , and it hurt when I touched it. but it only really hurt when I ran, so I didn't really bother with it.

But today, she started making us run longer and walk less, and I felt like my leg was about to collapse. More than me being out of breathe my legs couldn't take it. I went and told her about it and she told me to get better shoes. I'm going to get proper running shoes, but until then what do I do about my leg? I couldn't even walk to my next class today because they hurt so bad. I walk home, so by the end of the day they weren't so bad, but I still sorta limped there. WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY LEG? I think it could be shin splints but I'm not sure. and How do I keep running if my leg hurts so bad because we have to everyday.

Oh and I tired getting in a note from my parents but she said that only doctors notes got you out of things. I'm dreading going back tomorrow.

I fell in love with the Harry Potter Series (and I'm still in love with it). They are still my favorite books of all time. I Absolutely adored how deep and dark it got! :))

Percy Jackson - This was a really good book. I really like the fantasy in the real world kind of thing

the Uglies - they were ok. It got me through a slump when I didn't know what to read

I'm going to my freshman year at Lakeside High School in Evans GA, and I was wondering if AP Gov. was an elective, or a required class. I am also considering changing my schedule to have advanced Lit. is it wise to take on your freshman year, because im going to take Accelerated Math so I can take AP Calculus Later. Please Help!!!

Im also a little confused on the AP thing? is it a college level class, and does it mean I only have to take it for one year on high school? If someone could clarify that would be great! :))

I recently bought a used nintendogs and all it has is 1 dog named lucky, A hand sign witha dog in the middle, and in the corner it says "save" and THATS IT. how do i get more dogs and give it a bath and stuff. Please HELP!!!
