Is my processor dead?
well.. was working using my pc (acer power 1000) when it sorta jammed.. had to shut down manually and start again.. held down the on button for 5 secs and it went off.. tried to switch it back on again after a 20second pause, but when i push the on button only the cd drive comes on. nothing else happens.. and i hear the fan spinning faintly behind. my first tot is my mother board.. but the cd drive light comes on and it gets power from the motherboard.. anyway.. took my harddisk out, tried it on my other pc and it worked. so that rules that one out aswell..
really dun wana take it to a shop if its a processor problem.. I'll rather get a laptop.. so i need to know wassup.. any help is appreciated.
oh and one more thing.. it uses an adapter just like a laptop and that works as well(seeing the light come on) so i guess it isn't power issues
