Ben-Gay transfers?
When I was in art school, some people used to use Ben-Gay when altering books to transfer images. It made a really neat texture, and I want to do it again, but I've forgotten how! It doesn't say anywhere on the internet, either. Does anyone know how?

For all you people who are familiar with dream interpretation:
Whenever I run in a dream, I can never run upright. My legs get very weak and I fall forward and end up running on all fours, like an animal. When I run like this, I can run incredibly fast!
This happens every single time I dream, and it's been that way for most of my life. What does it mean?

So I grew up in California, and we had an apricot tree in the backyard. My mom, dad, as well as the rest of my extended family all pronounced it "ape-rih-cot." They are all extremely well educated and my mom's a writer, so they know how to pronounce words.
I moved to Connecticut a few years later, and I found out that EVERYONE pronounces it "ahp-rih-cot." Is this an East Coast vs. West Coast thing? Tomayto tomahto? The question has dogged me most of my life!

I'm currently in school for art ed - I should be starting my student teaching next September. I feel totally lost, though! I have no idea what lessons are appropriate for what age level or how to discipline. None of my classes have even gone over how to grade students! They're just throwing us in there when I feel like there's so much more I need to know.
Do these things come to you with experience - like trial and error - or am I getting a substandard education?
