I'm doing a paper on Henry James' "Daisy Miller" and need related texts. I'm going to explore the theme of Americans abroad, so any piece of published work you could suggest will be a great help.

Does anyone know any movies with underlying themes of either charity or justice or both? More recent films will be greatly appreciated (since they would be easier to find) but other suggestions are more than welcome. Need to show this to a group of youth.

They e-mailed me on May 15 for a possible interview on May 20 or 21, and asked me to call back. It is now May 30. I know that it's too late and that they have probably hired someone, but should I still call back? Do I have anything to lose?

I was planning to buy one before school starts but I was wondering if the price would still possibly go down (possibly after Christmas). It is currently selling for about $370 (CAN). The 8gb is about $270 (CAN).

Have you ever been fired? If you have, was it your first job?

I just got fired. I was there for a week but I absolutely hated the job. I knew that I sucked at it though. My only regret is that I didn't quit first. Should I feel bad for getting fired? And how do I make myself feel better?

Does it increase or decrease when temperature increases or decreases? Does it have any affect at all?

Does the pH (acidity or baseness) of a "thing" affect the rate of which a venus fly trap closes its leaves on the "thing"?

I am interested in going to UBC (University of British Columbia), and taking psychology (Arts). I am predicting that I will end up with a B-average (or 28 IB points). Do I have a chance of getting in?

My girlfriend and I have been going out for about 7 months now. We live quite a distance away so we only get to see each other on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We also talk online and text each other frequently. I though that everything was going well. At least I was happy and I thought the same with her. That was until this week-end, one of our mutual friends (who is a guy) told me that my girlfriend wanted him to tell me that things weren't working out. My friend though assured me that this did not mean that she wanted to break-up with me. Other friends though tell me that this did mean she wanted to break-up. I really don't now what to do since she has been avoiding me ever since. Please help...
