  • book suggestions?

    hi, im a 21 year old young women who would appreciate any suggestions about what to read next. i like romance, adventure, fantasy, mysteries, satires, and sometimes science fiction.

    i recently read charlotte bronte's Villette. i liked it, but i would prefer my next read to be different, i dont like reading similar books back-to-back (so dont suggest jane eyre). i also just read short stories by oscar wilde. i pretty much want a change of pace from 19th century books. my local library isnt big, so please suggest something i can easily find. thanks!

  • my friend and i were discussing: why do some guys say to call them back in 10 mins, but then dont answer?

    10 minutes is just an example. my friend's guy does this a lot and when she asked me about it, i wasnt sure what to say to her. does he just not like talking on the phone, or does he just not like her? in person he talks to her, but not on the phone.
