  • Only default page will open?

I have Internet Explorer, and Windows XP. When I click on the IE icon, it goes to my default page as usual (Yahoo). It will open anything Yahoo related, and if I have links in my Yahoo e-mails, they will open in a new window. But no other webpages will open. IE tries to open a new window with the site, but eventually a windows error message comes up saying that it's not responding. I changed my default to a few other sites, and they worked when they were changed to default (then Yahoo and every other site wouldn't work).

Any thoughts on what could be causing this? Thanks.

I'm after songs from the Dora the Explorer series that AREN'T the theme song, backpack, or map song. Songs from the special Dora's like Fairytale Adventure, Pirate Adventure, that kind of thing. • Gaining OP for mature age person (QLD, Australia)?

Someone I know is in his early thirties, and wanting to do a uni course which requires him to have an OP of 14. He never finished school, so would like to know more about how to gain an OP, and a year twelve certificate. I know TAFE offers things like that, but can't find information on the specifics. I know that there are alternative entry requirements for some universities, which don't require an OP, but he would like to get an OP. Can anyone please provide me with some information, or point me to a site that can? Thank you in advance.

  • Small red bumps/blisters on babies feet?

My ten-month-old daughter has today developed several tiny red bumps, some blisters, on her feet, mostly on her right toes. Yesterday I noticed larger mark on her leg, I assumed it was a mosquito bite that she had scratched, now I'm not sure if it's related to the things on her feet. She has been a bit whingy, but doesn't have a fever or anything else wrong (she has a hernia, which could be why she's whingy though). I'm taking her to the doctors tomorrow, but would like to know if anyone had any thoughts as to what it might be. Thank you.

  • "Who Do You Think You Are" British TV Show Downloads?

Where can I download episodes of the British genealogy show, "Who Do You Think You Are"? Torrent seems to have let me down this time, I have found the David Tennant and Stpehen Fry eps on YouTube, but that's it. I would especially like to see the Julia Sawalha episode. Does anyone know where I can download any episodes?

  • Convict Transportation to North America and Caribbean?

I know plenty of places to research convicts transported to Australia, but I recently came across an ancestor who was sentenced to transportation in 1771. Since this was a bit too early for Austarlian transportation, I assume that she was transported to either North America or the Caribbean (or were there other places that convicts were sent?)

What next? Are there any helpful websites that deal with this subject? Are there any places that list the convicts that were transported, or the names of any convict ships?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Fetta Cheese?

How long is it safe to keep Fetta cheese in the fridge for? I bought it from a deli, so there's no use by date. It's sitting in some water, as the woman at the deli said it would stop it from drying out.

  • Suicide-Australia (QLD)?

If a person is threatening to commit suicide, and has attempted it several times before (although there is no record of it, they never went to hospital or a doctor afterwards), is there anything that can be done legally? I assume suicide is illegal in QLD, is there anytway this person could maybe be arrested and evaluated or something. so they're not in a position to carry out their threat? Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

  • Mouse Trap Help?

I need some advice on mousetraps. I want one that doesn't hurt or kill the mouse, but traps it until I'm able to set the mouse loose in the bush (away from houses); also, I don't want to have to touch the mouse at all, so no traps that involve that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • 1881 Census Match Site?

I always stumble across a site where you can enter the census details for your ancestors from the 1881 census, then they're matched with entries from other people. Now that I actually want to use this site, I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know what site I'm talking about?

  • How to send an International Money Order from Australia?

I need to send an International Money Order to the UK in Pounds Sterling. I've never done this before, so please give me the "for dummies" version of how and where. Do I go to a bank, or is a post office sufficient? From what I've read, Australia Post has Western Union money orders, but they are only available in US dollars. Is this the case? Also, I don't want to transfer the money, I just want an international money order, so please don't give me information about transfer services. Thank you.

  • "Medium" Questions?

I was watching "Medium" tonight and fell asleep :( I was about halfway through the second episode of season three (which just started tonight here in Australia-the second half of the two-parter where people were breaking into houses and shooting families). They had just brought a guy into custody regarding the deaths of those people, I think he was wearing glasses. What happened for the rest of the episode?

Also, where can I go for a detailed episode guide for "Medium" that includes season three, and are transcripts of the episodes avaliable anywhere? Please don't refer me to tv.com; it's a great site, but doesn't have detailed episode guides for season three at the moment.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Stomach tender five months after giving birth?

I had my second daughter just over five months ago during a regular delivery. I have recovered okay, except my stomach feels quite tender at times. It feels as if things didn't go back to how they were supposed to inside of me, sometimes it feels as if everything is going to come out (uterus, etc). I'm pretty sure it wasn't like this with my first, is this normal for women who have had more than one baby? I have mentioned it to my doctor, who tested or infections (which I don't have), and am seeing her again soon.

    Has anyone else experienced this?
