  • Identity theft?

I recently saw a documentary, Talhotblond, about a woman who posed as her daughter (a very attractive 18 year old girl) online to entice men into cybersex. As it turned out, one man worked w/ another whom she was "courting" and killed the other man. During the course of things, this woman mailed each of these men (and apparently a number of other men) pictures of her daughter, saying that it was herself, as well as daughter's personal intimate garments, etc. At the end of the documentary, it comes out that while the man who committed the murder went to prison, there was nothing with which to charge this woman. From a legal standpoint, I would think this was identity theft and a felony since she used the USPS and the internet to perpetrate a fraud. My husband says there has to be a financial crime to make it identity theft. Does anyone know what the law actually says about this?

  • how can I get a copy of a 911 call?

My father commited suicide this week and he called 911 first. I know it sounds morbid but I believe that hearing that call and knowing as much as I can of the details of the event will help me to understand and to handle it. I just don't know how to get the information as he was in Tuscon Az and I am in New York. Also, I'd like to know how to get the police report and the coroner's report. Any help will be very much appreciated here.

  • I let some friends keep some things in my warehouse but now I need the space but they won't move their stuff.

I gave them verbal notice and have waited 8 weeks. With no written agreements or rent, etc. what does the law require of me to get these things out of my warehouse? It is heavy restaurant equipment. I live in Virginia. Can I sell this stuff to get rid of it or am I stuck until they feel like moving it?
