A little about me: I'm 44 years old & live in Fresno, CA. I have been married to my sweetheart since Sept. 25, 2004 & we have a beautiful little girl. I am a college grad & worked in the social services field for about 10 years prior to becoming a stay-at-home mom. I had intended to return to the work-force once my daughter starts kindergarten,but she was diagnosed with Autism in January 2009, so I may be staying at home longer than I originally intended. I am a moderate Democrat. I am a very open-minded Christian. I do not believe in shoving my religious beliefs down anyone's throat. My daughter is highly-functioning autistic & she has an instructional aid that comes to the house M-TH to work with her to develop a variety of skills. This particular individual is VERY conservative. Anyhoo, yesterday she was talking about a variety of sensory toys that they would be bringing for Emily to play with & she stated they would be bringing a "vibrator". It took everything I had not to bust out laughing or to even grin.
