  • How do you play your customized characters in the Lego version of Indiana Jones on XBox?

Seriously, I have no idea! I create them in the art room, but then I can't leave with them! It's getting to be very frustrating!

  • Does Canadian Blood Services let you know if your blood is bad?

If a person donated blood without knowing it was bad, and the Canadian Blood Services caught it in their screening, do they let that person know?

  • Stretch marks?

I'm 23 years old and have stretch marks on my hips, lower stomach and back, and inner thighs. They're light but thick and noticable. I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions about a cream I could use to minimize them? I'm a good weight (5'3 and 120 lbs), and I've never had any children. Honestly, I've had them for as long as I could remember. Probably since I was a kid (I was chubby growing up). Now that I'm at a nice weight, I'd like to wear bikini's and stuff at the beach, but understandably I'm a little self-concious about my stretchmarks. Does anyone have any suggestions for creams? I dunno if I'm really willing to spend thousands of dollars for lazer surgery...

  • Waxing cheek hair???

How common is it for women to wax their side cheek hair? I have just your regular fuzz on my cheeks, and I personally don't think it looks bad at all. It's just that I'm tanned and since it's blonde, you can kinda see it more (if you're up close). So how many women here have gotten it done?

  • My avatar is acting funny...?

Sometimes when I got to answer a question, or look at my page, or go to a catagory, my avatar changes back to the one I had a long time ago! Then when I either click back, or go to something else, it changes to my current one! How do I keep it from changing?

  • What's the difference between resistant weights and free weights?

OK, I know the obvious difference... one is a machine and the other is dumbells and such, but I'd like to know.. is one better than the other one in terms of working the muscles? Or are they both the same thing? And if one is better than the other, why is it better?

  • The dreaded physical exam?

Yes, that time of the year has come up for me.. the dreaded physical exam! While I know it's very important to get done, I have yet to meet a woman who looks forward to it! My question, though, is.... would it be OK to be "intimate" the day before the exam? I have read somewhere that a woman should refrain from having sex the day before the exam, or else it might infringe on the results. I'm curious to know if anyone has valid proof of this, or whether it's just an old wive's tale?

  • Cake flour in cookies?

I'm planning on making some zucchini chocolate chip cookies after work, but I don't have any all-purpose flour at home, just cake flour. I was wondering it cake flour will be OK, or if it does make a huge difference?

  • Why are some meat-eaters so ignorant?

Seriously, there are some petty people out there! I eat meat (both poultry and red), but I respect those who choose to be vegetarian and vegan for whatever reason. I never question them on their choices because it's their life, not mine, and I respect them for that. So why is it that some meat-eaters have to display their total lack of respect and ignorance for non meat-eaters? Seriously, some meat-eaters just make me sick. I'd like to tell them to just grow up and shut up. So tell me, meat-eaters, why are some of you like ignorant ****, making not only yourself, but the rest of us look bad? Whatever happened to respect?

  • What to make for dinner?

Ok, here's my dilema. I'm having a couple over Sunday night for supper. The girl is actually my best friend, and I forgot it was her b-day last weekend so I thought I'd make up for it this weekend. Here's my problem.. both her and her hubby DON'T eat cooked veggies! Any dish I make that has cooked vegetables in it, they will either:

    a) not eat at all

    b) pick out all the vegetables and eat just the meat.

I'm not talking any cooked vegetable, I'm talking ALL cooked veggies! They're weird, I know, but I love them both anyways. I want something kinda challenging, nothing like spaghetti and meatballs. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  • A runner's diet?

I need some advice. I've just started to seriously get into running, but I need a good diet regime to keep me healthy and give me energy. This past weekend I ran 20 miles (over the course of the weekend, not in one run). I'd like to be able to run faster and longer, as any runner should. I've entered myself into a Boston qualifying marathon which takes place Sept. 9, so I know I have plenty of time. I currently weigh 137lbs, and obviously with my running I'll be pretty slender by then, so I'm not worried about that. What I'd like to know is if anyone has a good runner's diet that I could go off of. This may sound strange, but even though I know whole grain bread and pasta are great for runners, I feel bloated from them so I'd like to stay away from those carbs if I can. Does anyone out there have any suggestions for me?

PS. I've also posted this question in health and diets so I can get an array of answers. Thanks!

  • What would you do in this situation?

OK. I have a bit of a dilema. I know this may seem insignificant, but.... I work part-time at a car dealership as a receptionist. I've only been there for 4 weeks, and I notice that a lot of calls that come in are from people who say that they saw our number on their phone, and wanted to know who called. K, there is, like, 40 people working there. How the hell am I supposed to know who called them?! It's really beginning to drive me nuts! There really is no way of me knowing who called them either. When I tell them I'm not sure, they ask me to find out! I usually tell them that the person will call them back if it's important, but they don't seem to think that's enough! What would you do in my situation? Serious answers only, please...
